Fantastic Plastic (in PINK)!!!

Hi Stamping & Crafting Fans

Hope everyone has been enjoying the crafting inspiration from the DT here at the Blog!

I've been making time for crafting lately and it has been great - even doing a few classes and an ATC swap which has inspired my post for today!

I love using acetate to make things and recently I participated in an Aussie swap Pink/Plastic themed ATC swap so I decided to make a few more using BPM stamps and accessories available in store!

To start I cut some thick acetate to ATC size and used shades of pink and gold alcohol ink - alcohol ink I've had for years and never used! I love the effects of the different colours moving and blending with each other!

Stamps used:
Correspondence Set by Katy Leitch - Script stamp

***Remember to us the code BPMSharon at the store for 15% off ***
So many fab stamps to choose from!
Note: you can use the code at either the IBFS Store OR the BPM Store - why not do an order from each and increase your stash!

You are Made of Stardust Card

Hi everyone! Tonya here this month with my take on the Azalea Creepy Cute Kid Art Rubber Stamp. I know this rubber stamp is suppose to be creepy but I thought wouldn't it be cute to turn the girl into a magical fairy. So lets get started.

Supplies

Blank Page Muse: Azalea Creepy Cute Kid Art Rubber Stamp

MISTI Stamping Tool

Various Plain and Patterned Cardstocks

Butterfly Printable

Watercolor Paper

Watercolor Paint Brush

Colored Pencils

Inks and Watercolors

Foam Pop Dots

Diecut Machine

Spellbinders: Wreath Diecuts

Momenta: Stars Diecuts

Stars and Clear Sequins

Metallic Thread

Paper Cutter

Scissors

Beacon Adhesive: Zip Dry Adhesive

Placed the stamp onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inking the stamp with a black waterproof ink and stamp onto a piece of watercolor paper.
I used an assortment of watercolors and inks to watercolor the girl image.
Use colored pencils to add highlights to the girl's face and clothing.

Fussy cut a butterfly and add clear glitter glue and let dry.
I had wanted to use the whole butterfly but it didn't look right so I cut off the bottom half of the wings.

Adhear those to the backside of the girl.

I already had a 4 1/4"x4 7/8" card base folded in my stash so I cutout the Stars and placed a piece of patterned cardstock to go behind the stars diecut.
Adhere all to the front of the card base.
Cut and matte the wreath diecut.
Next wrap with metallic thread around before gluing to the card base.
Place foam pop dots to the back of the girl, along with stars and clear sequins to finish off the card.
 There you have it!
As always if you have questions about this project please let me know.

Guest Designer Annie Collins~ Fairy Shadow Box

Hello Crafty Friends - Annie here I am Guest Designing for Blank Page Muse.

I am incredibly honored to be asked by Blank Page Muse to create a project for them.
I created a Fairy Shadow Box.

Let's get started!

I printed the template twice onto kraft cardstock and cut it out.
Stamped and colored the Fairies and flowers.
I added some details with the Sakura Gelly Pen: Sparkle. I die cut some grass twice.

I used the Blank Page Muse: Woodgrain Background Stamp and stamped the trimmed template of the shadow box. I put adhesive on one side of the template where indicated.
I pressed the two sides together.

Next, I used my scoreboard and scored on the indicated lines.
I then crease the edges so that they are crisp. I set it aside.

Then, I used the cloud stencil and Distress ink in tumbled glass to create a background for my shadow box.  I cut the cardstock down to 5"x 5" so that it will fit in the shadow box. I then adhered it to the shadow box.

Next, I adhered the grass onto the background sky panel in the shadow box. I put some adhesive onto the box portion of the box and rolled it up and press it into place. Making sure the grass bottom was completely covered.

Then, I repeated the process on the other sides of the box. Tape, roll and press into place. Take your time here the box can be a bit tricky.

I then adhered two of Blank Page Muse: Small Lilly Flower with Stem in the background along with the Blank Page Muse: Fairy Seated Long Dress

Next, I added the Blank Page Muse: Fairy Short Hair Standing to the outer edge of the box.
Along with the die-cut grass border. I then adhered the last
Blank Page Muse: Small Lilly Flower with Stem to the left outer edge of the box frame. Along with all the Blank Page Muse: Small 6 Petals Flower to the bottom edge of the box frame just overlapping the Blank Page Muse: Fairy Short Hair Standing.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment LOVE onto a stitched banner and adhered it to the top left corner along with one of the Blank Page Muse: Small 6 Petals Flower.

A Fairy Slider Postcard

Hello, don't you just love making postcards? Today I will show you how to make a postcard with a fairy that actually moves across the page! Isn't that exciting? It is not as hard as it sounds. Follow the simple steps below to make your own.

You can buy these and other stamps at Blank Page Muse and use the discount code BPMDtSuzette2019  to get 15% off. Offer expires on July 31st, 2019.

Other supplies used:
  •  4x6" piece of black cardstock.
  • 1.5" x 6" piece if black cardstock
  • white pigment ink stamp pad
  • 1/2" x 6" piece of white cardstock (for the sentiment)
  • blank ink pad
  • white cardstock for fairy etc.
  • embossing powder
  • heat gun
  • craft knife
  • foam tape
  • glue

Begin by stamping the background of the card.

Stamp the same flower on a piece of cardstock the same width of the above card and about 1 1/2" high. Stamp your sentiment.

Stamp, emboss and cut out your fairy.

Cut out a rectangle approx 2/5"  (0.4") high. This is where we will place our slider. Using this as a reference, place foam tape on the card exactly where you will stick this.

Cut a strip of cardstock to fit between the strips of foam tape. It needs to be about an inch wider than the card so you will have a handle. Attach a small strip of cardstock to the fairy and then use a piece of foam tape to add it to your strip of cardstock. This is how you will move your fairy.

Now glue in place the sentiment and attach the remaining piece of stamped cardstock to the base of the card, covering the rectangular slider.

Pull the handle to move the fairy.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I do hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Remember to subscribe so you don't miss a post and look us up on social media (links below).

Happy crafting!

Fairy Mom Embossed Card

Hi! Stephanie here again! We all know being a mom is a tough and very important job. Well this lil fairy mom is exhausted and is sneaking in a nap while the little ones are sleeping. I can't blame her I have been there myself! I think this card is perfect for all new (or just plain tired) moms out there. Let's get started with the fun!

Directions:

Emboss kraft cardstock with dandelion embossing folder (I don't remember the maker. It was a freebie with magazine purchase) Place stamp on embossed card to judge placement.

Stamp 20 Winks Sleepy fairy onto embossed card.

I did minimal coloring on this stamp because I wanted the little fairy to be the star of the show.

Hand write sentiment with the same colored pencil used to color the image. I also added some detail around the edges of the card.

Use a glitter pen to add some sparkle to the card and that's it! She's ready to be sent to your favorite hard working mom!

Magic is so inspiring, so you can understand why I've decided to sprinkle some magic on YOUR day! What's that fairy up to? Looks like she is making them come alive! Come along.. Let's fly together!

Products used:
CCB: Tattered Angels Glimmer Spray: Plum Jelly
Ranger Archival Ink Pad: Black
Finnabair - Art Daily Cafe: Word Sentiment

I'm so excited to share these stamps with you today. Take a look at that beauty! These flowers are so magical.
Pam Bray is good at what she does isn't she? I can't say that there isn't a stamp in the shop of her design that I don't want!
Just look at that fairy! Isn't she just beautiful?! Her wings are magnificent!!
Stamp your fairies and cut out the desired images you want to use for you ATC's.
1. After cutting out your images, spray your background color.
2. Then stamp each ATC randomly using the Pam Bray floral designs.
3. Next distress your edges using ink and your preferred blending tool.
4. Splatter your background with white paint.
5. While that dries, emboss your chipboard with white embossing powder.
6. Choose your sentiments, place them on white paper and distress the edges.
Here are some close-ups for you to see just how gorgeous these stamps can make any project!
