Inspirational Stripes!

Hi BPM Fans!

How are you enjoying the DT inspiration this month?
Lots of fab ideas for you to create with your stamps!

I've created with the challenge inspiration pic in mind again today - just love the colours and peaceful pictures!
And there's still time for you to play along with the challenge so make sure you link up - we always love to get inspiration from you as well!

Supplies:
Blank Page Muse Stamps: Kai Lana & Friends Mermaid Set designed by Stephanie Eaton
Paint Chip Samples
Kraft Base Card
Scraps of Card for your Stamped Images
Black Ink Pad
General tools: guillotine, scissors, glue, double sided tape, embellishments, colouring pencils or markers

Instructions:
Start by making your background. Use a guillotine or ruler and knife/scissors and cut strips from the paint chip samples - no need to be accurate - cut the strips at different widths.

Arrange the strips at different heights on the card background and adhere with glue or tape.

Stamp your focal images and sentiments onto cardstock. For a quick make stamp onto scraps of kraft card, fussy cut and add to your card background with any embellishments you like OR if you have more time and love to colour in stamp your focal images onto white cardstock and colour with your fav colouring mediums!

This technique is just perfect for any colour combo, any occasion and any stamps!
My aim is to always have multiple uses for your stamps - not just one occasion and never use your stamps again - we all want value for money!

Thanks for joining me today - hope you feel inspired to go SHOPPING and join our challenge!

Have a great day!

Sharon

Guest Designer Samantha~ Celebrate Hand Stamped Sunflower Card!

Hello, hello. Samantha here with a clean, simple, elegant card to share with you today.
Sometimes I like to leave stamped images uncolored. The black and white can create a striking look and highlight a stamp in ways that coloring it cannot; especially when the stamp is one as highly detailed as those from Blank Page Muse.

Today's card features a background created with single stamp. Left uncolored it is a bold and yet soft look as the flowers peek through an ethereal layer of vellum.

For this card you will need the following:

Sunflower Blossom Rubber Stamp by Pam Bray Designs

A piece of white cardstock cut to 5.5" x 4"

A piece of vellum cut to 6.5" x 3.5"

A black, A2 sized card base

A simple word die

Gems or sequins

To begin you will stamp the Sunflower to your white cardstock three times, leaving it uncolored.

Score your vellum at .5" and 6" along the 6.5" side. Fold and adhere one .5" fold against one end of your card panel. Leave the other end unattached.

Glue your die cut to the front of the vellum as well as your gems or sequins.

Lift the vellum, apply adhesive behind the die cut and embellishments, and attach the other .5" fold to the other end of the panel.

Adhere the card front to your card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my card. I hope you have the best day and I am very excited to see what you will be inspired to create.

Until next time,
Samantha

Woodland Flowers

Greetings Chris here and today I am sharing this bright and cheery greeting card that was inspired by this month's challenge board.

This card features Blank Page Muse's Flower & Bird Sketches Art Rubber Stamp Sheet Set,  Dandelion Wishes with Butterflies Art Rubber Stamp Sheet by Terri Sproul and Knock on Wood Rubber Stamp Set Sheet.  Combine these stamps sets with some card stock, a scalloped punch, archival inks, distress markers and a water brush and you are set to recreate this card.

Start by stamping the flowers from Blank Page Muse's Flower & Bird Sketches Art Rubber Stamp Sheet Set onto a punch scalloped circle.

Colored the stamped image with distress markers as desired.

Create your background by stamping wood block from Knock on Wood Rubber Stamp Set Sheet onto colored card stock.

I just love the details in this stamp!

Quick Idea with Sharon~ June Mood Board and May Winner!

Today DT Member Sharon has a quick make idea for you using left over patterned paper and BPM Sentiment Stamps!

These cards are perfect for when you need to make a card at the last minute and we know that can happen!
Grab some scrap patterned paper and cut slightly smaller than your card base, cut in half diagonally to make two cards at once and adhere to card base or leave as one piece!
This is also great for ATC,s and tags/bookmarks!
"Edge" the patterned paper with an ink pad if you like to create a "border".
Stamp your BPM Sentiment Stamp and you have a card ready to go!

You Are Wonderfully Wonderful!

Hi BPM Fans!

How are you all doing? I think the last month has seen some progress forward for us all so I hope everyone is doing well!

We have a great new challenge this month - perfect for using ANY of your Blank Page Muse Stamps!
We have a great "Inspiration" Picture for you to interpret however you want!
I love the colours on this palette plus the beachy feel especially as it's winter here in the Southern Hemisphere and thinking of the beach warms me up!
We look forward to how you feel inspired so make sure you link up to our challenge!

Hope you enjoy my  creation for today!

Supplies:
Blank Page Muse Stamps: Mermaid Fantasy Narwhal Set designed by Donna Gray
White Cardstock
Black Ink Pad
Colouring tools of your choice
Acetate cut to size (14cm square when folded used for this card)
Plain Coloured Card
Patterned Paper
Big Kick or Similar
Nesting Die Cuts
Embossing Folder
Embellishments of your choice including fibres, charms etc.
General tools and adhesives including scissors, small hole punch, double sided tape, glue etc.

Instructions:

Stamp, colour and fussy cut your images. Stamp your sentiment on one of the die cuts from the next step!

Die cut and emboss your card and paper as shown in the picture below.

Layer all your shaped cut outs and adhere together as shown below.

Next step is to adhere your little die cut "nests" to the acetate card base. Place your front "nest" centrally on the acetate card front, place another on the inside front of the card on the back of the front nest - see how it "hides" the tape back of the front piece - repeat with the very back nest ie. line up with the front nests and finish off with your sentiment stamped nest on the card inside once again lined up with the back nest. Sounds confusing! But you can see that everything through the acetate all "backs/lines up" each other neatly on the acetate so all you see when the card is folded s the front nest.

Use your small hole punch to punch "half" holes on the spine of your card so you can add some fancy twine/wool/ribbon. Thread your fibres through and tie a bow. If you want to add some little charms or beads to the ends of your fibre for interest you can.

Add your focal stamped image to the card front along with any bits & pieces you like.

Your card is now finished! Remember you can use any shaped nesting dies you like and whatever sentiment you need to suit any occasion! Love the versatility of this card and the clear acetate effect always looks so great!

Thanks for joining me today - I hope you feel inspired to get creating!

Happy Stamping!

Sharon
