Hello Spring Card

Hello! Today, I am on the blog with Blank Page Muse creating a Hello Spring Card using scraps and a beautiful jack rabbit stamp.

Supplies -

scraps of patterned paper
black cardstock
white cardstock
pink cardstock

This quick card was made with the Jack Rabbit stamp and some scraps from my paper stash. I seem to have lots of scraps so I decided to make some cards. I also have a stash of stamped images to choose from that are colored and ready to go!

1. Cut down the black cardstock to fit the white card front then attach the pattern pieces to a white piece of cardstock and cut down to fit over the black cardstock.

2. Glue all of these pieces together and add the Jack Rabbit and the sentiment.

3. The quick use of scraps and pre-colored images makes this card come together quickly!

Quick cards with Ephemera and Patterned Paper!

Hello from Design Team member, Heidi!  I would love to share with you some cards I made with the *new* Masquerade Ephemera Pack and 6x6 Patterned paper pack.

I did use a die and a stamp, just for finishing touches, but there are simply so many combinations to play with with the Ephemera and patterned paper. I made these cards in no time, I am sure it was less than an hour after my package arrived.  It was so fun to make these no-stress cards!

You can find these at the Blank Page Muse store.

Quick and Easy Easter Greeting Card

Spring Greetings!  Chris here and today I am excited to share this quick and easy Easter greeting card!  Often I forget to create card for the Easter season until I start receiving cards in the mail.

This year I vowed to have a few on hand! So this quick and easy card can be recreated in 4 easy steps and can be created in any color! So let's get started.

Step 1. Start by stamping the He is the reason for the Season image from I Brake For Stamps onto water color paper with Versa Mark.  This is such a gorgeous stamp!

Step 2. Add white embossing powder to your stamped image and heat emboss your stamped image.

Step 3.  Choose your favorite distress ink colors and blend over your image.  Wipe ink off your embossed image. I choose to use purples and blues but you could easily choose yellows and oranges or any other color combo!

Step 4. And the final step. Mat your image onto coordinating cardstock and add to your card base.

That's it.  4 quick and easy steps makes this card easy to mass produce!

I hope you are inspired to get creative with your stamps and papers from Blank Page Muse and I Brake For Stamps.

This stamp looks so pretty and can be custom colored to coordinate for any occasion that you want to send a little extra love!

I chose  purply-pinks for my hearts! I chose to mat my stamped image onto glitter card stock and die cut my greeting from the same glitter card stock. You could even pair it with the Happy Valentine's day stamp.

Cozy Cat in a Quilt

Hello from design team member, Heidi! I was feeling chilly the day I made this card so I was using cozy things like cats and quilts.

I first made a background with Distress Oxide inks, water and an embossing folder. I inked up my white cardstock with a brown and green inks.  I then spritzed the embossing folder with some water and closed it over the inked paper so the water would transfer to the paper. You don’t run it through your machine, just open it back up and let the water evaporate so you get the pattern on the paper.  It is a subtle pattern, but very pretty.  The same sweater embossing folder is the background of the card. You can find this old technique  explained in photos here

I stamped over the background with my quilt stamp and cut it out.

Then, I stamped my cat on kraft cardstock.  I applied nail polish to parts of it with a metal tool.  I did two layers because the first layer sinks in a little.  I then fussy cut the cat out.

I really like how this turned out!

Nesting Birds Card

Hello from design team member, Heidi!

It’s almost time for nesting season! As an avid birder, I am so excited about this. As soon as the days began getting longer, the birds have started singing their spring songs.

Anyhow, here is a card to celebrate nesting season using a stamp from I Brake for Stamps.  I stamped in brown dye ink over a glossy cardstock that I brayered with a Kaleidacolor inkpad.  This background went so well with the Cyan Consortium paper pack.  However, I wanted to bring in more brown, so I sponged Tea Dye distress ink around all of the pieces.
