Stamped Trick or Treat Party Favors

With Halloween being my all time favorite holiday, I couldn't pass up the chance to make these oh so  spooky party favors! They are easy to make up and fun to fill.
I'll be making these to give to the kids in my neighborhood all through October, as a early Halloween treat!

To make party favors like these, you will need the following:

3. Halloween party fillers
4. Washi tape
5. Strong double stick tape
6. Stapler
7. Scissors
8. Crepe paper
9. Colored paper
10. Black ink for stamping
11. Assorted markers and glitter gel pens

For the party favors with pencils in them, I cut my paper to be 6 ½" x 11".
The smaller treat tubes measured to be 5" x 6 ½"
Use the black ink to randomly stamp all over the papers.

Have a little fun coloring in your stamped images!

To make the tube, tightly roll your paper first, to get its shape. Add a strip of double stick tape along one side and press the rolled end into the tape.

Gently press down one end of your tube and insert some crepe paper. Staple this shut.
Add some washi tape to this end, covering the staples. Use your scissors to cut slits in the crepe paper to make a 'fringe'.

Fill your tube with Halloween toys or candy.
Turn the tube and close the opposite end as you did before.

You can also fill these with money, gift cards, and other fun things!
Happy Halloween!

Spooky Haunted House Shadow Box

Its my favorite time of the year when things get spooky.
Check out this configuration  box I created using stamps by The Blank Page Muse!

Supplies used:
Wooden shadow box house
Acrylic paint
Gesso
Colored ink pads
Halloween embelleshments

Start off by painting the box with gesso.
Once dry,  paint the frame purple and the inside green and orange.

Stamp out the halloween images and colour them with inks. Use different ink pads to create variety.

Stamp the Grunge Background stamp over the frame in black ink.

Begin to add the stamped images to the sections. Fill out the sections with faux cobwebs, faux moss and beads.

Use alphabet beads to spellout spooky words.

Keep adding layers of stamped images and charms to the box. Fill little glass bottles with micro beads and glitter to create potions.

Add gems to eyes to create  a spooky glow.

Unleash Your Weird Art Journal Page

Hello all

I am back with an art journal page using the color theme for April's Challenge.
Black and red made me want to use skulls, so I did.

Stamp sets used

Stencils
Black gesso
Red Paint
White Paint
Brayer
Black ink pad
Red ink pad
Marker pens

Start the page off by drawing the words onto a plain sheet using a marker pen,
 then coloring them in.

Cut out the words and put them to one side for now.

Use the Grungy Cobwebs Background stamp and use it over a blank page. Next use a brayer to roll red paint over a stencil and then use the stencil like a stamp across the page.

Add the next stencil using black gesso

Spray the whole page with black mist spray and leave it to dry. Next add white paint to the background by rolling it over a stencil.

Add the words to the page and then stamp out a few skulls from the Dribonze set and the Halloween On a Shelf set. Cut them out add add them around the page to finish.
