I wish I was an Octopus

Hello all you Blank Page Muse Fans!
Cathy N here with a watercolor technique card for you today.
I used a stencil and watercolor pigment powders to create this under the sea effect!

Stamps Used:
Octopus with top hat
I wish I was a octopus saying
Beach grass by Pam Bray

Other Supplies Used:
Watercolor paper
Black ink
Green inks
Wave stencil
Pigment powers
Die cut mermaids
Google eyes

Cut a piece watercolor paper to fit a card base.

Since this is going to be a underwater theme, grab a wave or water themed stencil. Lay it on top of the watercolor paper. Next sprinkle the pigment powers over top. Spray it with water. This will  active the powers. Lift the stencil off and let the paper air dry.
Ink and stamp the octopus off in the corner. Because it is watercolor paper it might take a few stampings to get a crisp image.
Now take Beach grass by Pam Bray the tall one and stamp it on the bottom of the paper. Use different green inks to make it look like there is many grasses there.

Add your eyes to the octopus.
Stamp the I wish I was a octopus saying on white cardstock and layer it on black then add it to the bottom of the card.
Add some die cut mermaids to the front and you have a underwater card ready to go!
