Guardian Gnome of the Pumpkins

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog! I love the colors of fall which inspired today's project.

I used the following BPM products on this project:

I colored the gnome using copic markers. I also created a plaid pattern on the gnome's hat. Don't be afraid to play with your markers.

I blended ink to the pumpkin stencils. To step it up, without removing the pumpkin stencil, I positioned the circle stencil over the pumpkin stencil. I added embossing paste over the stencil and carefully lifted the stencils up. While the embossing paste is still wet, I poured orange glitter over it. I set this aside to dry before fussy cutting it.

I hope today's project inspires you.

Wishing You

Welcome by the Blank Page Muse Blog today.  It's Karen Letchworth posting today, and I'm delighted to have you visit us to take a peek at my FUN card.  It incorporates a few different stamp sets from Blank Page Muse and they're all wonderful.
I stamped several images (cactus and succulents) using the Set of 3 Potted Cactus & Succulents Stamp Set (rubber) and the Garden Watering Can Stamp Set.  I fussy cut them, colored them with my Copics, and attached them to the card.  I did rub some Oxide Ink on the background in a few spots.
I also used the Bubble Wrap & Sequin Waste Texture Background Stamp Set to give the background some color and pizzazz.  There are lots of great background stamps and other images to help you create something special like I've done here today.  The sentiment can be found in the Butterfly Breezes Stamp Set and is stamped over the Bubble Wrap & Sequin Waste Texture Background

Additional photos and information can be found on my blog, My Cup Runneth Over.

Happy stamping, everyone.

Digital Creativity!

Hi Creative Peeps!

Welcome to yet another month of the year! Look out soon it will be Xmas!

Today I am sharing some cards using digital files - yes you heard correctly there are some fabulous digital download products available in the store!
Here's the link to the Digital Section of the Store CLICK HERE
I'm using the "Fall Teal Flowers and Leaves" Set - the colours of this set are so gorgeous.
I've made 2 greeting cards - combining the digital images, red rubber stamps and clear stamps - perfect to show you how you can combine different items from the store on your creations!

Products used:
Book Page (red rubber)

Digital files are great because you can print on different papers to get different effects! For my cards I printed the "tags" on plain white card and although they had some printed texture I also decided to use some the red rubber stamps listed above to add more interest to them - I used black ink on one and vintage brown on the other - love the different looks - you can use any ink colour depending on the theme you are creating!

I printed the leaves on glossy photo paper and fussy cut some out to add individually - the colours are so gorgeous - they "pop" on the glossy paper - the glossy paper would be perfect for using the whole image as a background.

I stamped sentiments from the clear stamp sets onto kraft card.

I added all the stamped elements to the card fronts and added some little Tim Holtz vintage people and bits & pieces to finish off . I love how these turned out!
We would love to see you have some fun with the new digital files and share your creations on social media so we can get some ideas from you!

Pop over to my blog for some more inspiration!

Happy stamping and crafting until next time!

Sharon

Second in a Series of my Jane Inspired Projects

Hello, Lyneen here creating with Blank Page Muse!  Today I am sharing my second in a series of Jane inspired projects. I fell in love with the two "Words by Jane" stamp plates over at Blank Page Muse. They are inspired by the works of Jane Austen. If you know me, you know I LOVE all things JANE! My plan for the stamp sets is to do a series of Jane projects!

To create the tag, I used the following stamps and stencils from Blank Page Muse:

Pumpkins and more Pumpkins!

 Pumpkins and more Pumpkins!

It's Sue here bringing on the pumpkins!

I do like all pumpkins in the fall, and this pumpkin trio stencil from Blank Page Muse fits the bill. For this card I only used the big pumpkin from the stencil but there are actually three on the stencil.
I used Pearl White stencil butter for this card.  It's a smoother style texture paste that does go on like butter.  It comes in lots of colors but I only have a couple but, you know, you can always shop at Blank Page Muse to get whatever color you like.

Visit my blog here for more details .

How to Create a Watercolor Stamped tag

Hello!  Chris here today and  I am excited to share this colorful tag I created using both rubber and clear stamps! How fun it was to mix both kinds of stamps on my project.

I started by layering distress inks on my surface.

After spritzing inks with a bit a water I laid my tag into the ink.

Just look at the gorgeous colors!

I then grabbed two of my favorite stamp sets.

I Brake for Stamps Florals Sheet Flowers for you Bouquet Happy Birthday Thank you SB132B

Using the  Florals Sheet Flowers for you Bouquet Happy Birthday Thank you SB132B  from I Brake for Stamps, I stamped the floral image repeatedly onto the tag and then heat embossed the images.

Grabbing my Beyond the Border Mixed Media Set 1 CLEAR Stamps designed by Pam Bray from Blank Page Muse, I stamped two borders onto the tag. You can see the first border below.

I finished my tag by matted the tag onto black cardstock and then adding a die cut butterfly and a die cut "hello"

I hope you are inspired to get creative with your stamps and papers from Blank Page Muse and I Brake For Stamps.  Don't forget to use my discount code BPMChris.

One Stamp, Three Ways

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog!
This is my first post here as a DT member. I am so glad to be a part of the team.

As the title of this post says, today's project is all about using a stamp in different ways.
This is a  great way to stretch out your supplies.

I used the following BPM stamps on this project:

Floral Spray Sunflowers Chrysanthemum Words Border Art Rubber Stamp Set-The large floral spray from this set is the stamp I used on all three cards.

Beyond the Border Mixed Media Set 1 CLEAR Stamps-I used a border stamp from this set on the monochromatic card.

The three ways I used the floral bundle stamp are:

  • I stamped it on a blended portion of the front panel of the card as seen on the photo above. Great technique for a one layer card. If you are not into coloring, this is one way of using those detailed stamps that looks intimidating to color.

  • I stamped and colored the image with Copic markers as seen on the card below.

  • I embossed the image on vellum as seen on the bottommost photo. This card has a happy turn out. If you are curious to know it, please visit my blog and you will find out.

I hope today's project inspires you.

This card uses the following Blank Page Muse Stamp Set:
And the following Blank Page Muse Stencil:

I used some old Doodlebug patterned papers and a piece of white cardstock.  I used several colors of Tim Holtz Oxide Inks to stencil my fun background using the Butterfly Trails Stencil.  All the other images you see on the background (confetti, balloons, sentiment) are found in the Special Day Birthday Hugs Stamp Set by Pam Bray

You can read all the details about my card and see additional photos here on my personal blog, My Cup Runneth Over.  I'd love to have you "Follow" my blog while you're there.  I hope that my creations for these AWESOME companies are inspiring to you.
