Stamp the sledding bear on white cardstock, color and fussy cut out.

Shaker Holiday Ornament

Hello, hello. Samantha here with  the first of two fun and easy holiday ornaments to share with you.
Be sure to use code BPMDtSamantha2019 to save 15% off of your order!

You will need the following:

Cut two of the chipboard circles into frame shapes using a basic circle die. Paint the frames and chipboard circles with gold paint. Keep one of the circle and frame pairs for later.

Stamp and heat emboss the ice skating stamp onto your circle.

After using hot glue to attach a ribbon line the outer edge of the circle in foam tape and the inner edge of the frame in double sided adhesive. Remove the backing from the double sided adhesive and adhere your acetate. Fill the well created by the foam tape on the circle with gems, sequins, beads, or anything else you'd like.

Press the frame onto the foam tape and that's it.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Make sure you're subscribed so that you won't miss style 2 of my holiday ornaments.
Until next time,
Samantha

Step 3:Use the frame and pencil to make outlines on the cardstock and cut it to fit the frame.

Step 4: Make an impression on the remaining orange cardstock using the owl stamp and black ink.
Then cut out the Owl .

Step 5: Take a piece of black ribbon and add the skull bead, attache the ribbon to the top of the frame.

Step 6: Adhere the frame to the stamped piece of cardstock.

Step 7: Paint the edges of the frame black.

Step 8: Stamp "Dead men tell no tales " on a piece of the orange cardstock

Let it Snow altered candle

Hello dear visitors, lovely to see you drop by here at this busy time of year. This is Astruid from the UK and I have an altered candle to share with you:
I think most of us at this time of year appreciate quick and easy, yet effective projects, I would say, this is one of those.
This is what you will need:
Winter Wonderland Stamp set

1 2 1/2" diameter plain white church candle
white tissue paper
Ranger Archival Ink in Coffee and Sepia
Some leaf dies or punches plus scraps of paper to punch them from
Some natural twine
Some Flowers
Heat-gun
Your favourite adhesive

Start by stamping your chosen images on the tissue paper with Sepia Archival mixed with a little Coffee Archival Ink
Carefully tear around the edges of the stamped images, don't cut them with scissors as that will leave you with sharp edges and you literally want to melt your images into the candle.

Carefully hold your stamped images in place where you want them on your candle, take your heat-gun and keeping it moving and at a good distance start to melt the wax and thus adhere your image to the candle.
Here you can see some details of the stamps I chose to use
The wonderful Santa on his sledge
And his reindeer you can see when you turn the candle a bit.

To finish my rustic candle off a bit, I tied a length of twine around the bottom and glued on a punched leaf and flower cluster with bits and pieces from my stash.
Well, there you have it, a quick and fun project that of course could be totally adapted to your Holiday Colour scheme..... I just happen to like the all natural vintage sepia tones.

Hope you will all find some creative time during this busy season! Thank you for dropping by, and don't forget, check out the shop for fabulous holiday season offers!!! HERE is a link to some of the wonderful coupons, just right for last minute gifts!!

Halloween Trivet

Skeleton with trivet 2 (436x800)
One day I found some old iron trivets with tile inserts in an antique store.  I didn’t like the pictures on the tiles, but I thought the bases would make great frames for small artwork.  They did!

I just got the Halloween stamp sets from Sin City Stamps and they are perfect for my Halloween trivets!  I really like simple designs that I can combine in different ways when I decorate.  I chose one image from the Halloween Takes Flight stamp set and one image from the Halloween Bingo set
