Snail Mail Envelopes

Hello! Isn't it fun to receive colorful snail mail? My postman, who is a big burly guy,  always wonders what is in those colorful packages and I tell him glitter and girly stuff!

Today on the blog, I have some colorful and quick snail mail envelopes that you can create with Blank Page Muse red rubber stamps, they stamp the best!!

Supplies -
Flamingo Row
Correspondence Pens, Ink and Postage
Unicorn Wishes
 5" x 7" white envelopes
Distress Oxide Inks in several colors
VersaFine Clair Ink - Nocturne

To create all three of these envelopes, start with laying out the stamps and then stamping with VersaFine Clair ink leaving an area for the recipients' address. Then using DO inks and a blending tool add random bits of color to the envelope.

Snail Mail Colorful Postcards!!

Hello! Today, I am sharing snail mail postcards that are fun to make and fun to receive in the mail. I just love getting colorful stamped mail, don't you? All the red rubber stamps used are from Blank Page Muse.

These postcards are made with -
Poppy Line Drawing
Classic Car Front View
Background Roses
Let the Adventure Begin Sentiment
4 1/2" x 5 1/2" white cardstock
TCW Stencils
Versamark ink
Ranger Embossing Powder - Black and White

To create the Poppy card, using Distress Oxide inks in Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry and blending tools, apply the ink to the card front. Then lay the stencil over dried ink and apply DO Carved Pumpkin to create the background. Finally, using the Poppy stamp and sentiment, ink with Versamark ink and heat emboss in black.

The second card was created the same way but use Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron with the Classic Car Front and Let the Adventure Begin Sentiment.

The third card used Background Roses stamp and sentiment with DO inks in Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry blended over the background then the stamp was inked with the same three colors and stamped onto the card. the sentiment was heat embossed in white.

Here are the finished cards, hope you enjoy creating your postcards!

A Handwritten Card - Is that still a "THING"???

Hi Blank Page Muse Stamps Fans!

I'm happy to be back for another term on the DT here at Blank Page Muse Stamps and getting to enjoy more rubber stamping FUN with you all!!!!!
Hope you enjoy everyone's creations and the new stamps you will be able to see in use!!

Today I am sharing an idea for a stationary set with a monochrome theme that is quick and easy to make but very classy and would make a lovely gift for someone who still loves to handwrite letters and use the postal system!

Supplies:
Card & Envelope Set in Silver Grey (make your own set or use a purchased set)
Note: any colour stationery will work if you have a similar shade of embossing powder!
Embossing Ink & Fine Silver Embossing Powder
Heat Gun
Silver ribbon or raffia to "wrap" your set to use as a gift (optional)
Instructions:

Using a range of the stamps from the "Correspondence" set stamp your envelopes and folded cards with embossing ink.
Sprinkle with your silver embossing powder and emboss with your heat gun.
You can also emboss plain paper to fit envelopes when folded for a more "letter" style of stationery. the possibilities are endless!

If using your set as a gift arrange your embossed cards and matching envelopes into a pile and tie/secure with silver cord or raffia. you can even make a little matching tag to finish the gift.

Thanks for joining me today - hope you feel inspired!
Happy stamping!
Sharon
