More Skull tags by Monique- Quick Idea's

I had a play with the 3 new stamp sets and my own :-)   I just mixed them and this came out
Sin City stamp sets used: Background Grunge set  , Wildflower Yikes and DriBonez
All backgrounds are Distress ink in various colors.
Next I used a waterproof black stamp ink and mixed and matched the sets.

On this one I added some red glitter paint around the edges of the tag and in the flourish behind the skull (the flourish is also on the Grunge background set)
Around the edges are the bones border stamps and on the bottom a nice pair of skulls and bones.
On the pic below you can see the flourish stamp in the background and the glitter.......

The last tag, is just the Dribonez set and a splatter stamp from my stash.

It was fun to have a play with the sets and see what you can do combining them.

Skull ATC's - Quick Idea's

I have made some ATC's using the Dribones set and the background roses stamp

All made the same way, stamp the skull, make a mask and put that over the skull and stamp the background.

Next color the stamps and use distress ink on the edges, see below all ATC's

Finder Keepers

 Hi fellow crafty folks,

Today I am sharing a tag I have made using the Sin City Stamp - Fancy Metalwork Look Plate
One of my favorite uses of stamps is in the creation of tags.
I guess you could say I am hooked on tags.

Supplies:
Sin City Stamp - Fancy Metalwork Look Plate

Ink - shades of blue, gray and teal
   Blank tag
   Washi tape with words
   Rub Ons
   Chipboard with sentiment
   Twine
   Metal Embellishment
   Die Cut child
   Blending Tool
   Dimensional dots

Step 1:  Blend teal and gray ink onto tag to achieve the look you like.

Step 2:  Spray or flick water onto the inked tag.  Blot the water using a paper towel.

Step 3:  Stamp the background with gray ink using the Fancy Metalwork Look Plate stamp.

Step 4:  Add washi tape with words across the bottom of tag.

Step 5:  Using the rub on of black birds to a position that will appear above the child's shoulder.  Next ink the edges of the chipboard sentiment and affix the chipboard sentiment to the side of the tag.
Using dimensional dots glue the child to the tag.  Finally, add the metal skull and crossbones to appear as if the child is holding it.  I added a hangman's knot to the top of the tag.

Not everyone would want to find a skull but obviously this little boy did. He is definitely not going to give it away.  I would venture to guess we all know a kid who would love to have a skull!
