Hello!
Stephanie here again to share a Whimsical Love Art Journal page. I have a small journal I use alot to clean up left over paint/inks from my projects (I hate wasting supplies!) so I thought it would be fun to make the fun page using some awesome BPM stamps!
BPM Supplies:
Hearty Doodles Stamp Set
Wildflower Yikes! Stamp Set
Other Supplies:
Colored inks
Black paint pen
Small art journal
Foam dots
Hot Press Watercolor paper
Directions:
1. Place a few droplets of ink on the page and spritz with water, then quickly close the book. Reopen and let dry. You can see some of the various colors underneath this from where I used it to clean up from another project.
2.Using the stamp from the
Wildflower, Yikes! and randomly stamp onto the page.
3. Stamp a few random hearts from the
Hearty Doodles set on the background.
4. Spritz a small piece of watercolor paper with water and finger paint on the paper with ink! I always enjoyed finger painting when I was younger. It's fun to get messy! Next, stamp some hearts onto the paper using a different complimentary color.
5. Add some adhesive dots to the back of each and double up on the dots on one part of the heart to add more dimension to the page. It will look like its floating above the larger heart.
6. To complete the project I wrote a Dr. Seuss quote and another quote (found on Pinterest) with black paint pen. See the random heart on the left page? That is a happy accident (channeling my inner Bob Ross) I messed up when writing out the quote. So instead of trashing my page I just covered it up! ;)
Hope you enjoyed this fun whimsical page! I know I did :)
