Guest Designer Samantha~Octopus Got Attitude!

Hello, hello! Samantha Ziegenfuss here with a fun card to share with you all today.

Much like this octopus I often wish I had 8 arms to smack people with and that is what inspired my card.

Let's jump right in!

To begin you will stamp and heat embossed the flying octopus stamp onto watercolor paper cut to 4" x 4".

Paint the octopus first and then do wet on wet watercolor painting in the background; adding more color and layers until you're happy.

Add a generous amount of shimmer to the entire thing.

Cut your octopus panel with a basic wavy stitched border die and apply a 1.5" x 4" strip of glitter paper to a white 4" x 4" note card. Adhere your panel so that it overlaps the glitter paper.

Stamp and clear heat embossed your sentiment to pink cardstock; trimming it down into a strip and gluing it to the left side of the card below the octopus.

Finish by adding a few gems.

Thanks so much for checking out my card. I have had a lot of fun guest designing and I hope to see you again.

Until next time,
Samantha

Little Cards, Big Snark

Hello, hello! Samantha here with a really fun idea to share with you. I often need quick gifts and my solution is to make mini card gift sets.
They're perfect for the recipient to keep on their desk or even in their car when they want to give someone a quick note but don't have time to order a handmade card.
The thing that makes these cards even more special is that they're snarky! You don't need to use snarky stamps but I think they are so unexpected and awesome.

Use code BPMDtSamantha 2019 to save 15% off of your next Blank Page Muse order!

For this project you will need:

To begin stamp the Whimsical Daisie stamp all over the 5.5" piece of cardstock with sticky embossing ink. Heat emboss using gold embossing powder.

Next apply your pink ink to the panel

followed by the pinkish purple shade,

and finally with the blue violet shade.

Cut the panel into fourths. Each square should measure 2.75"x2.75".

Apply to the card bases.

Stamp your sentiments into white cardstock with black ink. Cut into sentiment strips and adhere to the card fronts. Add sequins if you'd like.

Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my tutorial. I hope you have a great day.

Until next time,
Samantha
