Hello, friends! Today's card is another steampunk Christmas card in non-traditional colors. Follow along to see how I created it.
I started with a dark pink santa hat from Steampunk'd Christmas stamp set, stamped onto white cardstock.
I cut the image out using an oval die from my stash. I then cut out a slightly larger oval and inked the edges with the same ink as the hat.
I adhered them together before splattering them with ink and coloring the hat with a lighter pink colored pencil.
I repeated the process in teal. Then, I stamped Christmas from the same stamp set. I fussy cut it out to mirror the ovals. I adhered the matted ovals using liquid glue and popped up the sentiment with foam tape. Because I chose pink and teal, I thought it would be dramatic to mat onto a black panel.
