Hello, friends! This is Lori from Coast 2 Coast Cards sharing this bright and cheery card with you today.
I began by inking the Intersection Stencil with yellow ink. I have the paper and stencil held down with a photopolymer mat.
I love the geometric design the stencil leaves!
I stamped a purple butterfly from Heart of Nature Butterflies Bees just to the right of the middle of the panel.
Next, I stamped the image again onto a piece of masking paper. I fussy cut it, cutting right on the lines.
Mask was then placed on top of the butterfly. This is to protect it from being stamped on by the next image.
Once the mask is removed, it appears as if the green image was stamped behind the butterfly.
I didn't have the right shade of purple cardstock to match my butterfly, so I ink swiped the same purple around the edges of an A2 white cardstock panel.
I trimmed the butterfly panel down and applied foam tape to the back to add dimension.
I added purple gems from my stash to add sparkle to the butterfly.
