Hello, Blank Page Muse family, it's Lori again from Coast 2 Coast Cards with a fun-fold card. This card would be great to send on several occasions! When closed, it appears to be a regular card. You don't notice it's a window until it's opened. Follow along for a step-by-step pictoral.
To make a tri-fold card, you need to begin with two side-fold cards of the same size. I used two A2 card bases with folds on opposite sides of eachother. I slightly trimmed the top edge of the card on the right, so it would fit snuggly withing the base on the left. I adhered the two together with liquid adhesive.
Once the tri-fold was created, I adhered a trimmed down piece of Cyan Consortium Double Sided Papers to the front of the card. These papers are so fun, colorful, and substantial in weight!
I stamped the Fern Rubber Stamp in a dark green, then diecut it out using a scallopped rectangle from my stash.
I then cut through the front of the card with a larger scalloped die to create a window. I added the fern to the larger die cut.
Below the focal point, I stamped the sentiment from You Make Me Happy Hummingbird stamp set in a hunter green. The sentiment is not seen until you open the card and appropriate for several occasions!
Finished card. It's simple but elegant. I love fun-fold cards and tri-fold cards are always a surprise with plenty of room inside for a personal note.
