Double, Double Toil and Trouble!

Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are embracing this spooky month of October and the upcoming Halloween festivities if you celebrate them where you live!

And I hope you have been getting a lot of inspiration from the blog this month with all the DT sharing their fabulously spooky creepy creations!

Make sure you pop over to the BPM Store - type "Halloween" into the search bar and start shopping from the huge range of stamps!!!!!!

So today I have done my usual and stamped "non" themed stamps and made them "themed"!

Hope you enjoy these little "witchy" tags using stamps designed by Stephanie Eaton!

Supplies:
Blank Page Muse Stamp: Overcast Stitch You Are Stronger Character designed by Stephanie Eaton
Blank Page Muse Stamp: Zig Zag Stitches I need a Break Character designed by Stephanie Eaton
Blank Page Muse Stamp: Oh Son of a Witch Wording
Tags and Black Gesso
Collage Witches Hats & Masks (Art Tea Life Collage Sheet used for these tags)
White Card, Black Ink Pad and Coloured Ink Pad
Stencil, Texture Paste and Shimmer Ink Spray
Embellishments & Fibres
General supplies: glue, scissors, colouring medium, heat gun

Instructions:
Start by stamping your chosen characters onto white card and colouring with your choice of medium. Alternatively as you know I love stamping on kraft card as an option to colouring so you can do this too if you are not a colourer" makes it quick and easy and still looks great!! Fussy cut your stamped characters.

Stamp sentiment onto white card cut out and use coloured ink pad to edge.

Fussy cut your collage witch's hats and masks and adhere to your fussy cut characters. I just love how this changes the whole look of the character!

Next step is to "decorate" your tag background. Cover the whole tag with a thick layer of Black Gesso and allow to dry. Don't worry about any streak marks or thick lines - that adds to the texture of the background.

Once the gesso is dry use your stencil and texture paste to the tag and allow to dry. Then spray with your shimmery ink spray and allow to dry. If you want to speed up the process use a heat gun!

Arrange and adhere your stamped images and any embellishments to the tag and add some decorative fibres to the top of the tag and you have finished! I used some "cobweb" from a halloween pack, corner charm and some fibres.

Thanks for joining me yet again!

Happy Halloween!

Sharon
