Add a bit of Steampunk to your Journal

Hello All Lanette Here!

Today I'm going to share another fun Art Journal Page with you!

First lets take a look at my finished page ,then we can take a look at how I made it.

 

Sin City Supplies Used: Steampunk'd Stamp Set

Other Supplies Used: Stazon Ink, Art Anthology Velvet Paints, Webster's Pagers Alphas and a Stabilo Pencil

Now lets look at my process......

I started by stamping my main image with a waterproof ink, I used Stazon.

 

Next I started to add color to my background using a few  diluted Art Anthology Velvet Paints.

 

 

Next I added my text using some sticker alphas and a Stabilo pencil.



 

 Afert belending my Stabilo pencil with a bit of water I added a bit of doddles and random stamping to grunge up the page a bit. I used a few more stamps from the Steampunk'd Stamp Set.



 

Next I stamped my main image again on a second sheet of paper but this time I used Versa Ink and heat embossed the image. (Image from the Steampunk'd Stamp Set )

 





After you stamping the image I fuss cut it out and applied it to my page using a bit of foam tape and there you have it a quick fun Steampunk page for your Art Journal!
