Frida Kahlo Shrine

 Hello everyone, Monique on the blog here, showing how to make a shrine.

Like many other crafters I save all kinds of stuff from the bin, like this wooden box. Wooden boxes are perfect to make shadow boxes and little shrines.  It's so much fun to make and decorate them using bright colors and rhinestones. Have fun making one of you own and show them on the the Blank Page Face book group. Can't wait to see your creations.

Flowery Whimsy...

 Hi Again BPM Fans!

What a "Whimsical" month we are having here at the BPM Blog!

Hope you have enjoyed the DT Creations so far!

Today I am sharing a mixed media art journal spread using "Heart of Nature" stamp set designed by Donna Gray plus "WHIMSY" Letters from the "Alphabet Letter Set" designed by Terri Sproul along with some Whimsical Collage gals designed by Xquizart!

You know I love to combine stamping with collage elements and mixed media so you can imagine I had a lot of fun creation this journal spread!

Whimsical Art Journal Page

 Hello everyone, it's Monique today on the blog, showing a whimsical art journal page, using stamps and stencil from Blank Page Muse.

I love the funny creatures by Stephanie Eaton. Although some people might think they are a bit creepy, they are perfect to use in a whimsical way. Just combine with some other cute/sweet stamps and add some stars and nice colors. How sweet is this little guy telling the moon he loves her?

A little hope and stamping fun! - A Whimsical Tag

 Hello and Happy Friday! ...and happy long weekend for some. I do hope that you have plans to spend a little time with your favorite Blank Page Muse stamps creating this weekend. Today I have a mixed media tag to share. It combines different mediums and techniques and playing to see where it led, even at times during this tag I was unhappy with an outcome, I kept on and it turned into a project I am very happy with...

The stamps used were the Wintery Tree from the Starbright Gnome Wintery Tree Let your light shine stamp set by Pam Bray. I love this tree and how versatile it is. You can use it to create a Winter Wonderland project or a spooky Halloween Project. ...or a whimsical tag.

The second stamp I used was the Flower Shape with Silhouettes and Music. 

A little embossing here, two toned stamping there and and my little tag came together quite nicely. The quote is only fitting since I did, at one point, think, "oh no! it is a lost cause."  ...but creative hope told me to keeping trying!
