Steampunk Bird in a Cage tag

Today we are featuring guest designer, Peggy Oliver from Mixed Media Adventures.!

Hello! Peggy Oliver here, welcome, I want to share with you, my passion for mixed media stamps and Sin City Stamps delivers.
Today I am guest appearing for Sin City Stamps by far one of my favorite stamp companies.
I am making a cute birdcage tag steampunk style.
Enjoy!
Supplies used today are:
Sin City Stamps
A ribbon spool (optional)
Black ink
Assorted embellishments
Acetate  or clear packaging
Cardstock to fit the die.
Birdcage and bird die
Embossing machine
Aged looking paper
Double sided tape
Adhesive
Foam tape

1. Use the  double sided tape to adhere the unmounted red rubber background stamp to the  ribbon spool.
2. Roll the stamp onto the black ink, then onto your paper. Repeat until all empty spots on the paper  are filled. Then crumple up the stamped paper, open it up and smooth it out, adhering it with adhesive to the cardstock.
Let this dry before running it through your embossing machine with the die.
3. Use your black ink to stamp the wings onto acetate and cut them out.

4. Adhere the embellishments and chain with adhesive and foam tape.

This might just end up on around a nice bottle of wine as a gift.
Thanks for joining me!
