It's Kim today and I made another small art journal page.
Just a quick look today...
It was fast and came together nicely. It was about a 20 minute project, easy to fit in between stuff!
I used a basic watercolor in tin set from Hobby Lobby because it's fast and easy and has lots of colors.
I applied the colors with waterbrushes. I dried the layers with a heat tool to speed things up.
I used a black Uni-Ball Air Micro pen for the boxey border. The pens is so much fun. If you apply some water fairly quickly, it will give you a gentle wash.
The white micro dots are Signo Uni-Ball White Gel. The stamps were stamped with Stazon and Versafine Clair which smudged a bit but I like it, it made it softer and blended into the page.
The sentiment I stamped with Stazon to keep it crisper.
The big white dots were made with the white watercolor on top of the dried surface.
The awesome stamps are some of my favorite. They are from the Woodlands stamp set designed by Donna Gray for us! She hand carved the designs that we turned into rubber stamps.
