Anchors Away-Lori

Hello, crafty friends! Today I have a ocean-themed tag card. It's bitterly cold here and we're supposed to get snow. My thoughts are of warmer days, spent in the sand and in the waves. This card pulls in colors of the ocean with the nautical anchor as the focal point. The background is made up if embossed waves. Follow along as I make this tag card.

I ink blended a gradient of light blue to dark on a 2 1/2" piece of cardstock. I used Altenew inks and Gina K brushes.

I trimmed the piece down to 5 1/2" long.

I cut the Tage shape with a punch.

I stamped the anchor in a blue darker than any blue on the tag. The anchor is from Merry Stamper Full Plate from Blank Page Muse.

I added some baker's twine in blue and white to the top of the tag.

I added the tag to a cream-colored panel that had been run through a wave 3D embossing folder from my stash.

Final card. Makes me long for summer days at the beach! I hope you like it!
