Gnome Snowflake Ornament

Hi everyone! It's me Tonya and  as you know this month it was all about ornaments here on the Blank Page Muse Blog! I want to share how I used the gnome from the Starbright Gnome Wintery Tree Let Your Light Shine Stamp Set to create this quick and easy ornament.

Supplies

Watercolor Paper
Various Inks and Watercolors
Watercolor Brush
Scissors
Snowflake Ornament
Diecut Machine
Scrap of Patterned Cardstock
Brenda Walton: Medallion Diecut (retired)
Tim Holtz: Holiday Greens Diecuts
Clear Glitter Glue
White Thread
Paper Poinsettia
Robin's Nest: White Dew Drop
Zip Dry Adhesive
MISTI Stamping Tool
Waterproof Black Ink

I placed the gnome stamp onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked with black waterproof ink and stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper.

I watercolored the image with an assortment of inks and watercolors and once dry I carefully fussy cut the gnome out.

I gathered a glitter snowflake ornament, a medallion I had made and was leftover from another project and the gnome image and adhered the medallion and the gnome to the ornament.

I used the Holiday Greens Diecuts and from the scraps of watercolor paper and cut out holly leaves and pine sprigs. I shaped and adhered underneath the gnome image along with loops of white thread and a paper poinsettia from my stash.

I finished by applying clear glitter glue to the stripes on the gnome's outfit and a white dew drop on the cap. And there you have it! If you have any questions about this project please let me know.
