Playful card*

Hi everyone! I just felt like just playing and having fun today so I made a playful card in a mixed media style for a friends upcoming birthday!

I first began with coloring with this Sin City Rose Stamp with some markers, spritzing the stamp lightly with water and then pressing that image onto some water color paper.

The extra image was used to create dimension by cutting out a center and adding it to the flower along with a white pearl on the front of the card. But first I added some iridescent water color to give it some shimmer and used a fan brush to make some sparkly splats.

Then I took a blue marker and colored in around the edges and used a water brush to soften the line a bit around the flower. To get the splotches and splatter look, I scribbled my markers onto my stamp block, spritzed it and smooshed it down onto the paper.

I hope you can try this out, I'm sure you will have fun!
