Background Fun with Tags

Hello! Peggy Here to show you my tags created with Sin City Stamps background set from Terri Sproul Art Journal 2 set.

 I started with White Gesso on my tags. I wanted to play with resist so after stamping my background with Stazon Ink, I embossed another background stamp on top using Versa Mark Ink and Clear Embossing Powder. I headed this to set with my heat gun.

I stamped sentiments on my tag from the same set.. it reads.. "Just Love Us + Art". I distressed using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I tore some edges and also distressed with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain . I used a distressing tool from Tim Holtz along the edges. I had a very sturdy tag so I creased it up a little to look worn. 

Here is another White Gesso Tag with a brick background and sentiment from Terri Sproul's Set Art Journal 2. I added some stitch marks with black Sharpie fine tip. I distressed this tag with Tim Holtz Distress Ink black soot. I used Black Embossing powder on the sentiment.

Here are my final two tags! I added some custom died seam binding to match.
