Dream Big - Believe in yourself!
Hello, Peggy here to show you how I put together a deco plaque for my wall.
Todays supplies
- Sin City Stamps
- Ephemera background stamp
- World Clock baloon stamp
- Butterfly stamp
- Dressform stamp
- Believe sentiment stamp
- Journal texture stamp
- clay
- Distres paint
- Black/White and plum crylic paint
- Black stazon ink
- gold embossing powder/heat tool
- wooden plaque
- Paper ephemera
I prepared my wooden plaque by painting it black. Then I spread shiny plum acrylic paint in the middle of my plaque and pressed my ephemera background stamp into the paint. I lifted my stamp to reveal my impressed image. I put this aside to dry. I pressed some premo clay into several stamps. I used the world clock, butterfly and dressform stamps pressing firmly for a good impression.
While my clay was baking, I was trying to decide weather to crackle or whiten the edges with a wash.
I decided on the later. After white washing my plaque I spayed water where my central background image was and wiped it clean. Now my clay is dry and ready to paint.

I hope you enjoyed my affirmation plaque. I highly recommend you check out

Fabulous project. Love the textures you got from stamping into the paint, as well as into the clay.
