Beautiful Flowers~Stencil & Stamp Play Art Journal Page

 Hello Hello!

It's Kim today and I have a vintagy vibes art journal layout to share with you!

It feel kind of cozy given it's so cold in so many places right now! Stay safe, stay warm.

I used my small 4x4 sketchbook, various Distress Inks with a "make up" style blending brush,

our Fantasy Flourish Stencil

Rose Stamp

fineline small dragonfly rubber stamp

Stazon black and gray stamping ink

I applied the Distress inks with the make up style blending brushes with various colors. I rotated the stencil. I really like the tapestry feel of the layered background, hope you do, too!

I stamped the roses, dragonfly and words stamps directly onto the pages.

The coloring of the stamps was a fun practice. I really find the third attempt at coloring works the best. I'm warmed up? Relaxed? Tired and wanna be done LOL not sure! I do try to remind myself there is no right or wrong, the game is to DO something that makes me happy and takes away my inner mind blabber for a few moments anyways...

I added some white dots using a UniBall Signo Broad tip white pen. Dots are so fun!

Have a fun day and do something you enjoy daily.

All stamps and stencils are in our shop at blankpagemuse.com

All made in the US by the two of us, thank you!

Thanks

Welcome by again today, everyone.  It's your stamping friend, Karen Letchworth, sharing with you.  This is a FUN bright card that uses some FAB stamps from Blank Page Muse.  There are so many great stamps at Blank Page Muse that you're always sure to find exactly what you need.

I used the Scribble & Scratch Mixed Media 2 Stamp Set to stamp my COOL background.  I used the Small Bubble Circles Stamp to add the pink circles to the background.  Finally, I used the Dragonfly Stamp by Pam Bray (3x) to stamp my gorgeous dragonflies.  The sentiment (Thanks) can be found in the Fall Rubber Stamp Set by Pam Bray.

You can see additional photos and read further details on my blog, My Cup Runneth Over.  You're always sure to find the perfect stamps (and more) at Blank Page Muse.  Be sure to check out these FAB stops for even more stamping inspiration.
