Hello, crafty friends! today I have a fun and inky, fashionista tag that's quick to make. I love the colors of deep yellow/amber with brown. Tags are always fun to make and share. Follow along as I create!
I started with a long tag made from Neenah Classic Crest Cover Solar White Cardstock 100lb. I cut it to 2 1/2' x 8 1/2 ". I wanted to begin with a long piece, as I didn't know how much I was going to need for my tag. I have a punch in my stash that cuts out the tag top.
I started getting inky with Fossilized Amber Distress Ink. I smooshed some onto my glass mat, sprayed with water to dilute it, and tapped the cardstock into the ink. I then dried with my heat tool.
I repeated the process with Mustard Seed Distress Ink, making sure to dry with my heat tool in between layers.
The final layer of ink was a touch of Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I love how the amber and brown go together!
Now, for the stamping! I used the Mannequin Dress Forms Phrases Keyboard Steampunk Rubber Stamp Set for all of my stamps today. I began with the largest dress form for my main image. I stamped it in black to make it stand out from the other images.
I stamped the other images in a dark brown ink to tie in with my background color.
Finished tag! I added a double bow of jute to the top to add interest to the piece.
