Block Stamped Birthday Card

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog. I am glad you are here. I got my inspiration for today's card from a stenciled card with a block design. I thought of recreating the design using stamps instead.

I am using stamps from the Blank Page Muse Scribble & Scratch Mixed Media Set 2 Art Rubber Stamps. I arranged the stamps in a way that it will fill up a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white cardstock panel. I stamped the image using different dye inks.

Once I was done with the stamping, I did some masking so I can blend ink on images using the same colored ink. I light handedly blended the ink so as not to cover up the stamped image.

This technique of block stamping with ink blending can be used not only on cards. You can recreate this on a larger panel and use it as a scrapbook panel, a notebook cover, a gift wrap...lots of possibilities.

I hope you like today's project.
