Bird and Floral Sketches Tag

Hi everyone! 

Tonya here with a fun little tag I created using the Flower and Bird Sketches Art Rubber Stamp Set and the Swirl Stencil.

Gel medium

Black ink pad

Watercolor Paper

Scrapbook paper

Foam Pop Dots

Watercolor Brush

Paper Cutter

Scissors

Favorite quick drying adhesive

Lace, Cheese Cloth, Thread and Cording

Scraps of Various Patterned Cardstock

Leaf Sprig Punch

I started with a tag that I had already inked from a previous project.

 I used the stencil and to randomly add swirls to the tag. 

I felt as though the tag was missing something else,  so I found another stencil from my supplies and used the gel medium to add more design dimension to the tags background. 

Next, I stamped and water-colored the bird and flowers. 

I glued a doily from my stash onto the tag with part of it hanging off.

 I used a sheet of patterned paper which I cut a part and distressed before adding to the tag with the  Pop Dots.

For a little extra fun, I watered down some white and a dark brown ink, 

and splattered across the tag.

I placed the floral stamped image at the top of the tag. 

I added flat back pearls to the center of each flower, thread, cording, fussy cut twigs from cardstock and a leaf sprig punch. The bird image I placed behind the raised cardstocks and added a messy thread bow, flower from my stash, fussy cut foliage from cardstock and another leaf sprig punch. I finished of by adding a scrap of lace and cheese cloth to the tag base and a lace to the top of the tag.
