I swap ATC's (Artist Trading Card) with some of my friends and we tend to make the themes of the swaps seasonal. I absolutely adore all of the stamps in the The Femmes collection, but they are too large to fit on an ATC. This month I decided to use only a part of one of those images and I think it worked out beautifully!
Time to play...
Supplies:
The Femmes Fall Leaves Lady stamp, large
Clearsnap ColorBox Blends inks by Eileen Hull
Watercolor paper cut to ATCs - 2.5"x3.5"
Authentique Paper
cardstock
Directions:
- Position your stamp on a stamping platform and stamp image on a scrap paper.
- Position ATC sized watercolor paper on top of the scrap paper to catch the part of the design you want.
- Use a small amount of double sided adhesive on the back to hold it in place.
- Stamp image.
- Repeat this process until you have the correct number of ATCs for your swap.
- Color images as desired.
When your ATCs are finished you can swap them *OR* you can use them as focal images on cards!
(What a great idea!)
Looking at my collection of The Femmes stamps, I can definitely see more ATCs in my future!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some time to play today!
