Welcome the New Year with a Steampunk Couture Card!

 Hi Everyone!
Happy new year and welcome to 2014!
When I was creating this card, I felt like the colors and Steampunk style were just perfect for a great creative start in the new year!
Here's how I made it-

 I used the "winged key" from Sin City's Key Trio. I stamped this onto white card stock and carefully cut out the wings. Next I stamped this corset hoop skirt stamp from Sin City's Dress Forms stamp set. I stamped it first onto a light tan paper, then white paper.

 I covered the front of my card with random scraps of Steampunk inspired paper. I edged the tan cut out with a gold leafing pen. I glued the wings to the back side and then placed it all onto the card as shown.

 I added a good sized bit of double stick tape to the back of the corset. Next I placed some pretty black trim onto the tape, just barely hanging over the bottom of the corset. Then I added bunched up hand dyed silk seam binding. I trimmed the excess trim off the sides.

I added 2 layers of foam tape to the corset before placing it directly on the existing stamped image.
Then I edged a Gears die cut with the gold leafing pen before adding it to the top of the card with small pieces of foam tape. I finished the card with gold edging, The Robins Nest dew and diamond drops and a pretty red bow.
