Water Color paper Watercolor markers: Archival Ink- grey, green Card Stock - greens card bases - kraft, white
Mono-Chromatic Card
This card is so simple, no pictures are even needed. Simply Stamp the Blank Page Muse Southwestern Desert Cactus Flowers & Skull Scene Art Rubber Stamp Pam Bray Designs with Green ink onto Green Card stock. Mat image as desired and add to a white card base!
I placed the gnome stamp onto the MISTI Stamping Tool, inked with black waterproof ink and stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper.
I watercolored the image with an assortment of inks and watercolors and once dry I carefully fussy cut the gnome out.
I gathered a glitter snowflake ornament, a medallion I had made and was leftover from another project and the gnome image and adhered the medallion and the gnome to the ornament.
I used the Holiday Greens Diecuts and from the scraps of watercolor paper and cut out holly leaves and pine sprigs. I shaped and adhered underneath the gnome image along with loops of white thread and a paper poinsettia from my stash.
I finished by applying clear glitter glue to the stripes on the gnome's outfit and a white dew drop on the cap. And there you have it! If you have any questions about this project please let me know.

Happy Holidays! Today I have created 3 ornaments for Blank Page Muse this month. I love making ornaments and they make great gifts when visitors stop by around the holidays.
I like using found items and recycling them or using items and dressing them up. I bought this metal tree ornament a while ago and found it when I was looking through my Christmas box. I used the Snowman image from the Snowman Snowglobe and cut him down then glued him to the tree. I then used Stickles for some sparkle.
This ornament is on a paper mache round base, I covered the base with texture paint for a snowy look than when it was almost dry, I liberally applied glue and placed the snowman on the ornament.
Ornaments are so fun to make and make great gifts for any time during the holiday season!

Using foam adhesives, place the images in each opening on the card front
What is a Nicho box? You might be asking yourself, to keep it simple they are like a shadow box. Often used for Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is a Mexican religious holiday that is celebrated November 1 and 2.
Items used:
Imagination
Scissors
Alcohol markers
ink- Palette, hybrid acid free
Sharpie marker
Card stock
Acrylic paint
Cardboard tubes (like toilet paper rolls work great)
Cut the carboard tubes into your desired shape. I cut little window like shapes into mine to slip the stamped paper inside. Paint and decorate anyway you want. I stamped the outsides of my tubes with the marigold flowers and scared heart stamps. As you can see in the picture I'm a messy crafter.

Star by ink blending the sky with Broken China Distress inks on Cougar 80 lb. cardstock. The design started with the evergreen tree stamp and Evergreen Bough Distress Ink! I double stamped the trees so the background trees are lighter, highlighting the central tree.
Check out this darling gnome! I stamped him on Cougar cardstock and colored with Copics. I love the dimension in the beard by using different shades of grey. A little foam tape adds the dimension.
The final step was adding the sentiment and ink blending the yellow stars.

Here is another addition to the Holiday ornaments all Blank Page Muse DT members are showing this month. The people who know me a bit, know about my love for the darker side of art, and that is why I decided to make an ornament with a skull theme. To make it less scary, glitter paint and gems were used to color the sugar skull stamp by Blank Page Muse.
The plastic mirror was in my stash for a few years, waiting to be altered. I thought it would be the perfect thing to use to make an ornament from. Not just to decorate a (gothic style) Christmas tree but also to be used as decoration for Halloween or Day of the Dead. The only problem was it was cheap looking and had butterflies for decoration. To adjust the look of the mirror to the gothic look I wanted to achieve, some clay skulls were used for decoration. Next step was to transform the mirror frame from plastic to an antique silver look. In the video below all steps are explained.
Transparent piece of plastic (I used an overhead projector sheet)
Black Gesso
Silver Metallic paint
Glitter paint in Red, Green and Silver
Gem stones in red
Clay ornaments (of course you could also use metal or plastic charms)
Wire
Ribbon in black and grey
Waterproof permanent stamp ink in black
Stamp tool (makes stamping on plastic easier)
Glue dots or double sided tape (don't use glue on a mirror)
All instructions are in the video here:
This is what the back of the mirror looks like after altering it. I love how the metallic silver paint gives the gothic look I aimed for, Imagine it hanging it next to lights in the Christmas tree, it would catch the light perfectly and be all festive and glittery :-)
I had fun creating this mirror, it's always nice to find a use for things you find in your stash, even if it is not the way it was intended to be used. You might want to have a look at the things you have collected in your stash, you never know what you find :-)

Hello BPM Fans! Christmas is just a week away and with the colder weather here, I’m really in the Christmas mood. This year I am made a variety of styles of Christmas cards and classic and vintage ones are always a favorite. Today’s card features the adorable Blank Page Muse stamp called Christmas Joy Holiday Dress designed by Rick St. Dennis.
This is the perfect stamp to use for entering a project in the Blank Page Muse December challenge, “Celebrate!”
For this card, I cut out a couple of flourishes and pine branches out of gold mirror paper using a metal die. You can also use stickers that are similar if you don’t have a these dies or a die cutting machine. I also added some pre-made paper poinsettia flowers. The white mat with scalloped edges is also cut from a metal die. If you don’t have a similar die, use a paper trimmer to cut a rectangle shape. There are many substitutions you can make to decorate your card. You just need this beautiful stamp.
White cardstock (base card) cut to 8-1/2"W x 6"H. Score at 4-1/4" and fold in half.
White cardstock (card front) cut to 3-1/2"W x 4-5/8"H - I used a die, but you can use a paper trimmer.
Gold cardstock (mat) cut to 4-1/8"W x 5-7/8" H
Red patterned paper or red cardstock cut to 3-7/8"W x 5-3/4"H
Coloring medium of choice. I used Copic markers.
Scissors
Your favorite adhesive
Paper trimmer
1 white and 2 red one-inch paper poinsettias
Sentiment of choice
The following embellishments are optional and/or can be substituted with what you have in your stash:
Flourish die cuts (substitution can be leaves)
Pine branch die cuts (substitution can be leaves)
Glitter glue - I used Stickles in Crystal color (substitution can be any glitter glue)
Glossy Accents (substitution can be Diamond Glaze)
Sparkle pen - I used Spectrum Noir in clear color (substitution can be Wink of Stella)
Copic markers used:
Skin: E04, E11, E21, E00, E000
Hair: E49, E44, E42
Red: R89, R59, R46, R24
Green: YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91
Yellow: Y38, Y15, Y11
Turquoise: BG49, BG57, BG45
Brown: E18, E15, E11
White: T5, T3, T1, Blender
Snow: T5, T3, T1, B00, B000, Blender
Instructions:
Stamp image on white cardstock and color. Make sure you color the ground.
Cut out the stamp, trimming close to the image and adhere to the white cardstock.
Stamp the sentiment
Adhere the gold cardstock (mat) to the base card
Adhere the red patterned paper to the gold cardstock
Cut out the flourishes and pine branches using gold cardstock and adhere them to the opposite corners (I ended up using only on branch per corner).
Adhere the poinsettias on top of the flourishes and pine branches
Add Glossy Accents to the ornaments/baubles
Add glitter glue to the stars, feathers, holly, and zig-zag design on tree pots
Add glitter pen to the hat, shoes, and dress
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you give this card a try. There is still time to make cards to send to friends and family. Wishing everyone a Very Merry Classic Christmas!
