Blank Page Muse Stamp:  Special Day Clear Sentiments
Blank Page Muse Stencil:  Butterflies and Flowers Layering Stencil


Randomly stamp the balloons on a panel of white, then color with Copic Markers. 
Use the stencil to add butterflies, then stamp butterflies directly on top.
Add party streamers on the card.
Add stickles for dimension.

A Visit from the North Pole

 Merry Christmas!   I hope Santa came to visit you!
Today I am sharing this cute North Pole Holiday card using one of my favorite holiday stamp sets. 




This card features  the North Pole Holiday Line Art Rubber Stamp Set by Rick St Dennis from Blank Page Muse. These images are so fun to color!  And would even be perfect to stamp and leave for a younger recipient to color. 

Stamp by stamping your image onto your stamping card stock.  I chose to use archival inks because I love to color with watercolor markers and a water brush. 

Start by coloring your image with your watercolor marker and a water brush. This create a lighted muted color. You can see the light greys in the sign and the light brown in the bear. 


I decided I wanted some bolder colors in my image as well. To create the bolder colors I used my markers directly on the paper with no water brush. You can see the difference in the colors on the image. 


Finish coloring your image as desired. Double matte your stamped image as shown and adhere to your card base. Finish your card with a few adhesive gems and a sticker greeting.

A Merry Pink Christmas

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog! We are one day close to the big day. The hustle and bustle of the holidays are almost done. In behalf of the BPM team, we all wish you a Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays! 

Today's card is a Christmas card using a non-traditional Christmas color which is pink. I hope you like it.


I used BPM Beyond the Border Christmas set on this card. 

I used the snowflake border for the background. It was repeatedly stamped and embossed. 


I stamped the trees with the leaf garland border stamp from the stamp set. I used a sticky ink to stamp this repeatedly. I pounced some pearl powder to the inked impressions.

I did the same technique for the snow slope. I used the oval garland border stamp from the stamp set.

Hugs - Stamping and Stencils

Hi there, stamping friends.  It's Karen Letchworth posting today, and I have a FUN all-occasion card to share with you.  What I absolutely LOVE about the Pam Bray Special Day - Birthday Hugs Stamp Set is that it has the best (4) sentiments and the most amazing (5) images that allow you to make awesome Birthday cards as well as all-occasion cards like this one.
This card also uses the beautiful Butterfly Trails Stencil.  I moved (re-positioned) the stencil with each color change.  This lovely circle stencil is a great one to have on hand for creating quick and easy backgrounds that really look great.  You can read further details about my card on my blog, My Cup Runneth Over.

Here We Come A-Caroling 12/20

 

Hey there, friends!

It’s creative team member Walter back on the Blank Page Muse blog today.

It's hard to believe that Christmas Eve is only four days away.  The weeks leading up to the holiday just seem to fly by so fast.  I was able to squeeze in a viewing of A Christmas Carol, which is one of my favorite Christmas movies.  (Side note: I enjoy both the 1938 and 1951 versions, but prefer the 1938 one!)  It always helps put me into the Christmas spirit.  That's why I knew that I had to make a card with the stamp featured on today's card - Vintage Style Christmas Carolers.  It looks like they stepped right out of Victorian England!



Here's what I used to make it:



I just love this card!  Looking at it transports me to Victorian London.  I can smell the goose roasting, see the carolers singing, and Tiny Tim blessing each of us.

Tiled Design Christmas Card Beyond the Border Clear Stamps

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog. I have another card featuring the BPM Beyond the Border Christmas set giving it a different look. 


Most tree stamps are next to each other side by side. What makes this stamp unique is that the trees are lined up next to each other with a vertical orientation. To stretch out the use of this stamp and not limit its use as a border stamp, I created individual stamped trees using this border trees stamp.

I first stamped the border trees stamp on different colored cardstocks using a dye ink then a sticky ink. I heat embossed the trees with a holographic embossing powder for some shimmer. 

I trimmed the trees, separating the trees from each other to come up with an individual tree per block. Here comes the fun part. I arranged these trees to come up with a tiled design panel. You can definitely change out the colors to recreate this. You can also use two colors only to give it a checkerboard look. 


The holographic embossing powder gave each tree a different look even if I used the same inks and cardstocks as seen on the photo above.

Vintage Gingerbread Christmas Paper Pocket

Hi friends and Merry Christmas!  It your crafty friend Karen Letchworth here today sharing a sweet and EASY little Glassine Bag Pocket Gift Card that I created using Christmas Digital Pages from Blank Page Muse.  I just ADORE the papers in the new Vintage Gingerbread Christmas Papers because of the darling images and sweet colors.  Just look how sweet they are.
I used a white glassine bag and folded it half-way up.  The paper was machine stitched in place which creates a fun pocket where you can tuck in some goodies.  I added some sweets and a gift card.  Pretty much everything you see is found in the Vintage Gingerbread Christmas Paper Assortment.  It's SO sweet, so fun and so easy.

Best Chocolate Gift Bags

Stamp the phrase on white cardstock and emboss and die cut.
Place the stencil on top.
Create the candy toppers and adhere the stamped panel.
Fill the bags with candies and adhere the candy toppers.

Book Binding Card Technique

 It's Sue showing you one of my go to fun folds called Book binding card.


The paper on these cards could very well be used for masculine cards, but I didn't think, and added flower to my cards.  Maybe you have a gardener you could send to?  Then they would be perfect.

Poinsettia Trio Holiday Card
