How to Create a Stamped Collage Style Card

Greetings!  Chris here and today I am excited to share this stamped collage style greeting card.

This card features several of my favorite Blank Page Muse and I Brake for Stamps stamp sets.

Stamps featured:

Start by stamping your stamps repeatedly onto s script printed paper.

I used a postage stamp punch to punch out my stamped images.

Mat your punched stamped images onto cardstock or colored patterned paper so that they are slightly offset.

Place your stamped images onto a piece of matted script paper and adhere to your card base.

Finish off your card with a die cut hello added to a punched script paper postage stamp, and a jute bow.

Easter Scene Card

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog. I am so glad you are here. Easter is just a few days away which inspired me to create this card.

I used the products below in today's project:

I am trying out a new technique on this project which is the Distress Crayons direct to rubber stamp coloring. I have watched videos on this technique but instead of using Distress Crayons, watercolor crayons were used. The Distress Crayons, being water reactive, produced the same artsy look to the stamped images.

I used the stencil to create embossed clouds on the sky. With the embossing, I was able to blend blue inks to create the sky of the scene.

Isn't the bunny cute as he looks at the large eggs? Bunnies are close to my heart. They are so fun to watch as they hang out at our backyard.

I hope you like today's project. From the Blank Page Muse team, we wish you all a HAPPY EASTER!

A Vintage Dream

Hi there, crafting friends!

It’s design team member Walter back on the blog with you today.  You may have noticed from some of my earlier posts that I’m a big fan of the vintage theme.  I find it really fun to create something that looks aged from newer items.  For this card, I used both digital downloads and stamps to create the vintage look.

Here’s what I used to make it:

The background papers made it super easy to create a card panel with multiple vintage-looking styles.  The Woman’s Head stamp is full of so much detail and pairs so well with these papers.  The Dream stamp has a more modern font and gives a steampunk feel to the card.

Mask off your stamped gnome and stamp the tress from your stamp set.

Color your image as desired.  I chose greens and oranges to match my St Patrick's day theme.

St. Paddy’s Day Step Card Using the March Digital Small Calendar Kit

Hi there, Blank Page Muse and I Brake for Stamps crafting friends!

It’s design team member Walter on the blog today with a fun step card celebrating St. Paddy’s Day.  Have you created with any of the digital kits from Blank Page Muse?  They are so easy to download, print, and design with, and can be quite a time saver when you’re in a crafting pinch.  I used the March Small Calendar Kit by artist Pam Bray to create this really fun and cute St. Patrick’s Day card.

Here’s what I used to make it:

Digital Page with Small Calendar and Versatile Green-themed Images 2024 March Pam Bray Designs

I find that printing the pages out on 65lb white card stock works really well with my particular HP printer; however, you may wish to try both regular printer paper and card stock in your printer to see which you prefer.

I used a step card die to create the base since it eliminates the need to measure and score on my own.  There are lots of YouTube tutorials on how to create such a card base if you don’t have such a die.

You may read more about my creative process on my blog.

    Stencil and Stitching

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog. Today's project features another imaginative way of using a stencil. I did a similar project on creative ways of using a stencil on a previous post which I linked below:

Creative Ways of Using a Stencil

I love to stitch! And, it brings me joy to know that I can use stencils to create templates for stitching. The stencil I am using is the Blank Page Muse Clouds & Drops 5x5" Mixed Media stencil.

With all the texture created by the stitching, I don't think this panel needs any additional embellishments.

I hope you like today's project and give paper stitching with stencil a try. And if you do, don't forget to share a photo of your project on BPM's FB fan page as listed below.
