Time Flies: It's up to You to Navigate!

 Hi Creative Fans!

Today I am sharing a mixed media journal page using stamps available in store plus collage image and stencil from my stash.

Stamps used:
Dragonfly by Pam Bray Designs
Time Flies Word Stamp

I had a page in my journal that I had painted with excess paint so I decided to finish it off with a Steampunk theme.

I added texture paste through a stencil and once dried I painted over the texture with Lindy's Magicals.
I stamped the little cogs/gears stamp over the background. I added embellishments, bits of washi and book page along with a fab Steampunk college image from my local scrapbook store!

Check out my blog for more inspiration!

***Remember to us the code BPMSharon at the store for 15% off ***
So many fab stamps to choose from!
Note: you can use the code at either the IBFS Store OR the BPM Store - why not do an order from each and increase your stash!

Steampunk Card

Hi everyone, Monique here with another Steampunk post, this time in a more traditional way :-)

If you ever want to make a masculine card, the steampunk theme always works. Well I think so anyway, the traditional steampunk colors will give the card a masculine look even if there are no machines, or men in top hats included. For this card I used brown in different shades. I didn't add a sentiment, because I like to have some cards ready to use for any occasion. As soon as I know where I need a card for, the sentiment is all I have to add and it is ready to send.

"Steampunk is Victorian Science Fiction"

Hi BPM Fans

How are you all enjoying this month of Steampunk inspiration?
I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I really love the concept and the fab images that are around!

For my creation today I've gone more "traditional" steampunk as opposed to my post earlier this month with the Creepy Cute Kids turned into Steampunk characters!
I've created a large tag which could also be used as a bookmark!

Hope you can play along and link up your Steampunk creations to our current challenge!

I love this quote by G.D. Falksen:
"Steampunk is Victorian Science Fiction"

Supplies:
Blank Page Muse Stamps: Vintage Steampunk Gentleman with Wings
Blank Page Muse Stamps: Steampunk Circus Set
Plain Kraft Tag
Kraft Card
Chalk Paints
Black Ink Pad
Embellishments
General supplies: scissors, glue, double sided tape, spatula

Instructions:
Stamp your main steampunk image and sentiment onto kraft card and fussy cut.

Use your spatula and chalk paints and swipe over tag. Allow to dry.

Use stamps from the Circus Set and stamp directly onto tag background with black ink.

Arrange main stamped images and any embellishments onto tag and adhere. Add some string or fibres to the tag top. This technique works for cards, ATC's etc so have fun!

Thanks for joining me today!
And remember there is still time to play along with our challenge this month!

Happy Steamy Stamping!

Happy Birthday Quick Idea~ Fun Art Tag by Sharon!

This tag has a great quick background technique using stamps from the Steampunk Circus Set and has been created by DT Member Sharon.
The thing we love about this quick technique is you can use any sentiment stamp you have to create not only tag backgrounds but ATC's, ATcoins and greeting card backgrounds and is perfect for any occasion. Your base card can be painted or inked prior to stamping to add some colour.
Add another feature stamp and some embellishments and you have a quick creation that can be whipped up at the last minute! No need to colour you main image either which makes an even faster creation - just leave black & white or print on kraft card for a different look!

Make sure to come back and play in our Creative Challenge the link can be found on the sidebar and up top.
