Steampunk Card
Hi everyone, Monique here with another Steampunk post, this time in a more traditional way :-)
If you ever want to make a masculine card, the steampunk theme always works. Well I think so anyway, the traditional steampunk colors will give the card a masculine look even if there are no machines, or men in top hats included. For this card I used brown in different shades. I didn't add a sentiment, because I like to have some cards ready to use for any occasion. As soon as I know where I need a card for, the sentiment is all I have to add and it is ready to send.

"Steampunk is Victorian Science Fiction"
I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I really love the concept and the fab images that are around!
For my creation today I've gone more "traditional" steampunk as opposed to my post earlier this month with the Creepy Cute Kids turned into Steampunk characters!
I've created a large tag which could also be used as a bookmark!
Hope you can play along and link up your Steampunk creations to our current challenge!
Blank Page Muse Stamps: Steampunk Circus Set
Kraft Card
Chalk Paints
Black Ink Pad
Embellishments
General supplies: scissors, glue, double sided tape, spatula
Use your spatula and chalk paints and swipe over tag. Allow to dry.
Arrange main stamped images and any embellishments onto tag and adhere. Add some string or fibres to the tag top. This technique works for cards, ATC's etc so have fun!

Circus Clown Assemblage
step 2: make a background using the stencil and red paint
step 3: gesso the tin (only outside)
Step 4 paint the bobbins red
Step 5: measure the stencilled cardstock to fit the inside of the tin (I traced the tin on the back of the cardstock and cut it out along the inside of my marks.
Step 6: decorate the inside of the tin, and make a "stage"by folding a piece of the stencilled cardstock
Step 7: use the scallope punch and yellow cardstock to make a border to decorate the top of the tin
Step 8: make an impression of part of the clown stamp using red ink on yellow cardstock
Step 9: cut the stamped image triangular shape and ink the edges using a red ink or paint. Add foam board if needed to reinforce the "clown sign".
Paint the letters yellow and red like in the picture above, and decorate the bobbins with yellow stripes on the edges.
Step 9: decorate the tin, the scalloped edge and the "wheels"and "sign"using the rhinestones
Step 10: make an impression of the clown stamp using black ink
Step 11: assemble all parts like in the picture above
Step 12: color the clown and cut it out
Step 13: adhere the Pierrot vintage Stamp to the back of the tin using foam tape to create dimension .
