Hello, today I share with you a Steampunk art journal page that has an aged feel to it. I used Distress Oxides to create the awesome background and stamps from Blank Page Muse.
The stamps used from Blank Page Muse are:
- The octopus air balloon from Octopus Time! Steampunk Art Rubber Stamp Sheet Set SC91
- Steampunk Sprocket Gear Art Rubber Stamp
Other supplies used:
- Distress Oxide -Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, Rusty Hinge
- black embossing powder
- Versafine Pigment Ink - black
- VersaMark Watermark Stamp Pad
- white cardstock
- black cardstock
- art journal
- heatgun
Stamp an image with VersaMark water mark ink and allow to dry.
Now go over the entire page with Distress Oxides. Sprits with water to get that speckled look. Allow that to dry thoroughly before moving on.
Now stamp the gears and air balloon on the page.
Stamp and emboss more gears on cardstock. Cut them out.
Stamp and mount your sentiment/saying.
Arrange the gears and saying on the page. When you are happy, glue them in place.
You are all done! Wasn't that easy?
