Spooky Haunted House Shadow Box

Its my favorite time of the year when things get spooky.
Check out this configuration  box I created using stamps by The Blank Page Muse!

Supplies used:
Wooden shadow box house
Acrylic paint
Gesso
Colored ink pads
Halloween embelleshments

Start off by painting the box with gesso.
Once dry,  paint the frame purple and the inside green and orange.

Stamp out the halloween images and colour them with inks. Use different ink pads to create variety.

Stamp the Grunge Background stamp over the frame in black ink.

Begin to add the stamped images to the sections. Fill out the sections with faux cobwebs, faux moss and beads.

Use alphabet beads to spellout spooky words.

Keep adding layers of stamped images and charms to the box. Fill little glass bottles with micro beads and glitter to create potions.

Add gems to eyes to create  a spooky glow.

The Baby Boos Artist Trading Cards

Aren't  they adorably spooky?
OK, maybe the red eyes gives you the creeps but that is what Halloween is about, right?.

The following stamps used, are available as sets or singles.

Other supplies:
ATC card blanks, Purple spritz ink, black ink pad, colored markers, googly eyes and Halloween embellishments. Scissors, adhesive and double sided tape.

Start off by using a make up sponge to dab on purple ink and then spritz another ink over the top.

Once dry, stamp over the top in black ink with the Grunge Cobwebs stamp and then take a small spider stamp and add it ti the cobwebs.

To create the wings, take the large winged skeleton  from the Halloween  Bingo set and ink just the wings and stamp them out onto card.

Stamp out the dolls onto white card and colour in with pencils or markers. Cut everything out and use a small amount of double sided tape to attach the wings to the back of the dolls.

Add small print out hats, spooky words and gems to finish.

Here are some close ups of the ATCs

Steampunk Baby Doll Tag

Hey, everyone! I'm so excited to show you this tag I created using a variety of stamps, including one from my new Soulful Dolls collection (and my prop is the baby doll used for the stamp!).

Supplies:

Blank Page Muse: Baby Doll Line Art Rubber Stamp
Blank Page Muse:  I Can Go From Normal To Insane...Word Phrase Rubber Stamp
Blank Page Muse:  Old Style Key with Wings Art Rubber Stamp
Blank Page Muse:  Steampunk Definition Phrase Rubber Stamp
Blank Page Muse:  Seth Apter Chunky Rust Embossing Powder
Blank Page Muse:  Seth Apter Vintage Beeswax Embossing Powder
Black/brown distress ink
Embossing pad
Various metallic/black embossing powder
Scrap dictionary paper
Scrap steampunk-theme paper
Chipboard key/cog
Mesh
Safety pins/metal doo-dad
Screw head brads
E6000/matte gel
Rusty wire/hemp rope
Blank tag

Start by cutting your dictionary paper to fit your tag; adhere and distress with ink.

Ink up the steampunk definition stamp with your embossing pad and stamp; emboss with a metallic powder. Do the same with the key stamp. Getting some stray powder in areas is a plus if it happens!

Ink up the baby doll stamp with your embossing pad and stamp onto a piece of steampunk-themed paper; emboss with a metallic powder and cut out.  Emboss your chipboard key with a metallic powder and distress with ink.

On the backside of a different piece of steampunk paper, draw a hat for your baby doll. Cut it out and emboss the brim with black powder.

Start laying out how you want your doll to look. Emboss your chipboard cog with Seth's Chunky Rust powder.

Rub your embossing pad on various areas of your tag and emboss with Seth's Vintage Beeswax powder.

On the back of a scrap piece of paper, stamp the normal to insane stamp and cut out. Emboss over it with Vintage Beeswax and distress with ink.

Add a strip of mesh at the bottom and poke holes in the corners for your brads.

Now start putting everything together! Glue down your baby doll with its embellishments with E6000 - I recommend it since I found a glue gun has a hard time adhering on top of the embossing. Add some wire and hemp through the hole for a hanger.

Seth's embossing powders really add a cool affect.

Such a fun tag to make with layers and textures galore! Blank Page Muse Stamps has a wide range of stamps and Seth's incredible embossing powders!
