Happy Day

Hi Chris here today sharing this layout featuring large stamps as a focal point on my layout.  

For this project I used:

I started by cutting 3 squares 3 inches x 3 inches.  I stamped images from the Vintage Fashion Collection.  I stamped the image a little off center to create some visual interest. As you can see I stamped a few extra images, but I only used 3 on this layout.

I cut a piece of patterned paper 6 1/4 x 11 and distressed the edges using the distressing tool.  I folded down the upper right corner and then attached the piece to a cardstock base.  I then cut a piece of cardstock to 5 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches.  I used a border punch to punch the left edge of the piece. 

I then cut a 1/2 strip of vellum and embossed it using an embossing folder.   To create the "continuous" embossing I cut a slit in the top of my embossing folder to allow the strip to slide through.  

I traced the bow template onto vellum and cut it out and then embossed the pieces before assembling the bow.  I embossed a larger piece of vellum to use as my photo mat.  Adhering vellum is tricky so I attached the vellum strip to the back of my cardstock.

I adhered my stamped imaged to the right of my cardstock and placed the cardstock on my patterned paper.  I added my vellum matted photo, tucking some journaling in behind the photo.  I added several coordinating die cuts to and my sticker title to balance out the page.

Winged Bodice Card

Hi Chris here sharing this card using Sin City Stamps Anime Faireis #2 and Vintage Fashion Stamp sets.

Supplies used:
Sin City Stamps:  Sin City Stamps Anime Faireis #2, Vintage Fashion
Cardstock: Kraft, White, Core'dinations Kraft Core
Embossing Folder: Tim Holtz
Bodice Template: Stampington.com
Ink: Tim Holtz Distess Ink (fired Brick), Staz-on
Adhesives: ATG, Quickie Glue Pen
Glitter: Wow
Punch: Kreaxions/Just Imagine #920
Other: Sequin ribbon, gem, Vellum

To create this card's background,  I started with Core'dinations Kraft core card stock and used a Tim Holtz Embossing folder.  I sanded the background piece to bring out the Kraft Core.  I added a punched border using one of my Kreaxion punches (# 920).

I then traced a bodice template from Stampington.com.  Sin City has lots of bodice stamps that would look great on this card.  I then stamped multiple partial images of the umbrella from the Vintage Fashion Set.

I then cut out the images and added to the bodice for a lace ruffly look.

 I then added some sequin ribbon to the center of the dress for a belt.  I added a red gemstone to the center of the ribbon.

 To create the wings I stamped the wings from the Anime Fairies 2 onto vellum with Staz-on and then fussy cut out the wings.  I used my Quickie Glue Pen to add glue to parts of the wings and then added red glitter and then I attached the bodice to the card.

Love Vanquishes Time

Hi, Chris here sharing my first reveal for Sin City Stamps. 

For this project I used the following supplies:

Sin City Vintage Fashion Stamps
Tissue paper
 Archival Ink (black)
Distress Ink (Antique linen)
Cardstock
Letter stickers
Embossing Folder
Lace Heart Doily
Black lace
Baker's Twine
Decoupage 
Sandpaper

To create this card, I started with a White cardstock card base (10x7 ).  I cut out a card base "top" in black and adhered to the card base. 

I then stamped the watch from the Sin City Vintage fashion on a cream colored tissue paper.  I stamped multiple images.  (the folds won't matter or show up. )

I then tore the tissue paper into pieces and adhered to a piece of white cardstock (to create the card background) and to a chipboard heart using decoupage.  After the pieces were dried I trimmed off the excess paper and sanded the edges.  I attached the cardstock background piece to the card. 

I then Embossed a 4 x 6 piece of cardstock.  I slightly sanded the embossed piece and then matted the embossed piece onto black cardstock, and attached diagonally onto the card

I cut the inside heart out from the white heart doily and then inked the doily with Distress Ink.

 I attached the heart on the left side of the card trimming off half of the heart for use on another project. I then added the letters to the heart and backed the heart with black lace and added to the card.  I added a baker's twine bow to the heart to help soften the bold black and red tones.
