Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog as the DT continues to celebrate Friendship/Kindness/Gratitude this month.
I used the Blank Page Muse Kindness Changes Everything stamp set on my card.
I adhered the stamp to an acrylic block. My stamp is mounted on a cling foam so I did not have to use any adhesive. You can purchase this stamp mounted with an additional fee.
I inked the stamp with a red interference ink.
I stamped the image on a white cardstock.
I repeatedly stamped the flower to fill the panel and create a background.
I prepped a wine colored cardstock with anti-static powder.
I inked the sentiment stamp with white pigment ink.
I stamped the sentiment on the cardstock.
I poured white embossing powder to the inked sentiment. I heat set this to melt the embossing powder. I usually start heating on the back before moving to the front.
As you can see on the photo, I have two stamped sentiments on the cardstock. I did not do a good impression on the first one, so I stamped the sentiment again. I still have some imperfections on my second stamped sentiment. I filled the gaps with a white gel pen.
One of things I do to save on cardstock is instead of using a full panel for a matte, I die cut this into a frame so I can use the negative cut for something else. I used the extra to die cut the sentiment. I trimmed the white stampd cardstock at 5 1/4" x 4".
I trimmed the sentiment into a strip and adhered this to the panel. I adhered the die cut sentiment below the sentiment strip. I added details to the die cut sentiment with a white gel pen.
I hope you like today's project.
