Color me Perfect Gift Bag

Lyneen here with a DIY gift bag idea.  I rarely buy beautiful gift bags.  Instead, I pick up bags at the dollar store and decorate them with papers, tags and ribbons.

Today I have a bag using the Color Me Perfect Art Doll stamp collection and Bedazzled Diamonds Stencil, both created by Pam Bray.

Paper Doll Dream!

Hi Stamping Fans

Happy New Year! Can you believe it's now 2024? Time flies!
Hope one of your new year's resolutions is to make more creative time for yourself!

Today I'm sharing a journal page using some of the fabulous "clear" stamps available in store - have you seen them? Lots to choose from and a great range of little "planner" stamps for those of you who love to decorate your diaries!

I've used these items for my "arty doll" page today:
Dots & Spots Stencil by Donna Gray
Hearts Stencil by Magda Polakow

I used collage paper from my stash and paint for the background along with patterned stamps from the clear stamp set.
I stamped the "corner" stamp and main doll image onto patterned paper from the Sweet Passion paper pack - just love the pink colours!
I used a "head" from a Tim Holtz paper doll and adhered to the paper doll.
I adhered all the stamped paper to the journal background and stamped the "dream" word onto the page.
Some splatters and a page border to finish off!

Mini Journal

 Mini Journal

It's Sue here today.

Besides making cards, which I love to do, I have discovered making journals over the past couple of years.

Here's a look at the inside showing the pages, pockets, and little surprises.
While making this mini journal I discovered you can stamp on our pattern paper!  Blank Page Muse pattern paper is what I call semi gloss so I wasn't sure you could stamp on it ... until I tried.

See more, and a flip through video over on my blog.

Journal Ephemera!

 Hi Stamping Fans!

Hope you are all getting in some creative time! I've been busy working in my journals which seems to be my go to creative outlet at the moment!
So today I am sharing some quick little word and image ephemera for adding to your journal pages or you could also use them on cards and tags - whatever you want!

All supplies available in store:

I've used word stamps and small image stamps from the clear stamp sets - any words and small stamps will word from any of the huge range of stamps available in both stores!

I love the 6 x 6 paper pads by Pam Bray - I cut strips and layered them on double sided sticky paper - makes it quick and easy and less mess than glue! Plus when you cut out your pieces you can just peel off the backing and stick straight on your project!

Hope you have fun with this quick little project! We would love to see what you create so remember to tag us on social media or make sure you have joined our Facebook group so you can share your creations!

Folding Tag Cards

Hello from Sue.

Having fun with Color me Perfect Art Doll clear stamp set.  This stamp set not only has an Art doll, but lots of background images.  Background images are always good to have on hand to use in any stamping project.  What I like about this art doll is I can add different things to make arms ... as you can see in the photo I used ribbon.

I call these tag cards because as you can see in the photos ... They look like a tag, but they open and close like a card.

Here are the stamps used:

They are fun and easy to create.  Once you see how easy they are to create ... I hope you try for yourself.

Thank you for stopping by.

Dreamer Art Doll

 Dreamer Art Doll

Hello I'm Sue, a new design team member.

Let's get started today showcasing one of Blank Page Muse Art Doll clear stamp sets.  The difference between using clear stamps, than red rubber is you can see exactly where you are placing the image on your project.  Do you like to make fun fold cards?  I do, and these are z-fold cards.  They are easy to create ... once you make one I think you will agree.

Here is a classic black & white.

Card #1 -

Card #2 - Is one of my favorite go to techniques called embossed resist which is the card on the right in the photo.

This art doll is a unique design, and a great size to fit on the front of our cards.  This set also has lots of background images along with lots of words for our cards.

Paper Dolls

Hello crafty friends! Kelly Parker on the blog today with Blank Page Muse using several of their people and photobooth stamps which are listed below.  I love using people and face stamps, they are so versatile and a fun way to make all kinds of projects!

Supplies -

Various pieces of collage papers
 - gelli prints
 - magazine pages
 - old book pages
 - washi tape
 - stickers
White Cardstock
Versafine Clair Ink

Stamp out the images onto the white cardstock, draw a body and cut out the images. Stamp the Vintage Lady and Steampunk Gentleman, cut out the wings for use on the dolls.

Glue assorted papers to the bodies of the dolls and embellish with stickers, lace, washi tape, sequins, and hats. At this stage, you can use anything you want to decorate and embellish your dolls. You can also use a paint pen to create more texture and marks on each doll. When you are finished, you can ink the edges with a crayon, ink pad or pen or even do some stitching on the body of the doll.

Here is each doll up close, Enjoy!!
