Sirens Song Watercolor Embossing Powder Resist Painting
Hi there, Stephanie here to share this dreamy watercolor painting featuring the beautiful
Cascadia Mermaid. Watercolors are definitely my favorite medium and what fun it is to create with such a gorgeous siren and watercolors! This is my first watercolor and embossing powder resist painting. Let's get started!

Before adding heat...
Starting the melt. I don't about y'all but I love watching the embossing powder melt! Look at the beautiful details in this stamp.
Tape down edges of the paper
Paint over embossed Cascadia stamp with water.
Paint over entire surface with Brea Reese watercolor ink.
Dab up some of the ink to create some texture
Paint the embossed mermaid with watercolor inks. I love how the watercolor pools and mixes inside the embossed image.
I sprinkled salt in the pools of watercolor around the entire page to create the bubbly texture you see below. Just sprinkle, let dry and rub off the salt.
To finish the painting I added a handwritten quote.
I hope you enjoy my painting and if you're craving more Blank Page Muse goodness follow the links below.
