For this project I resurrected the one sheet wonder
mini journal. I made these little journals years ago to give
gift cards or monetary gifts. The Creepy Cute Halloween digital paper
collection is perfect for those creepy monetary gifts. The use any of the Blank Page Muse digital collections available HERE to create your mini journals. When printing you can resize the images to fit your needs.
This folio was created using the Creepy Cute Halloween Digital
Papers Printables Papers & Tags. Other supplies:
Ribbon
Enamel dots
Flower punch
Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Gathered TwigsAdhesive
Create tags for the pockets!
Cut a section to create a pocket!
Fussy cut the cute images to embellish the pages.
Add additional pages to create flip out pages.
Front & back cover.
To create the journal from one page:
Fold 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper in half lengthwise, then in half on the other direction. Fold the sheet into eight equal sections.
Fold the page in half lengthwise to cut
With the page folded you will be able to create 4 pages.
Create a pocket by cutting one of the sections as indicated by the blue line above.
To create a pocket, flatten the page our and make 2 cuts as indicated by the blue lines.
Your paper should look like the image above.
Place adhesive as indicated by the blue line. Do not remove the protective covering until the paper is folded.
Fold in half, then crate a bird beak like image below. Push the beak sides together, then remove the protective paper from the adhesive.
Now the mini journal is ready to embellish.
