Create a Background Using Border Stamp

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog. Christmas is just around the corner. One of the traditions that I enjoy doing during this season is sending my own handmade Christmas cards. How about you?

I used the BPM Beyond the Border Christmas set on today's card. This stamp set includes a Christmas tree border that is vertically oriented.

I repeatedly stamped the Christmas tree border on a green cardstock using a sticky ink. I poured a chartreuse colored embossing powder to the sticky ink, then heat embossed it.

I spritz the panel with a glimmer spray. After I dried this with a heat gun, I embellished the trees with a red enamel glue drops.

Although the tree includes a star on the top of the Christmas tree as part of the image, I added a holographic star die cut to the top of the tree for more shimmer.

I hope you like today's card. Please visit my blog, Maria Giselle's Creative Cuts, for card details.
