Hello Gals,
For a dramatic and quick background add a watercolor drip over the top of a stamped background. It adds a subtle shadow-like layer. Last, use black ink to repeat the same design on top of the dried background. Go ahead have a play with this idea and be sure to share your creations on the Blank Page Muse Fan Page.
Directions:
1. Use black ink to stamp a female image and then color it in using a black marker to create a silhouette. Carefully cut around the image and set aside.
4. Next, spray the top edge of the background lightly with plain water and guide the drips to form a pleasing arrangement. While the paper is still wet, apply the colored mists. They will follow the guide of the wet paper and help to keep the drips evenly spaced. Continue to add color tilting the page to allow the mists to blend and flow.
5. Use black pigment ink to stamp a variety of roses over the dried background, as well as, adding some directly onto the cardbase. Round the corners and adhere the dripping background to the right side of the cardbase.
6. Adhere the sentiment and add the silhouette to the left side of the card using 3D foam tape and covering the seam.
7. Embellish the roses with glitter glue and add a random sprinkle of mini gems as the perfect finishing touch.
