Shaken Hearts

Hello Blank Page Muse fans.  Happy June!!!  Gail here today with a shaker card using the beautiful large Femmes Lady with Hearts stamp.   The team is getting all interactive and/or postcardy this month and I decided to use this stamp and turn the three largest hearts into shaker windows.

Other Supplies Used:
Stitch Square die
Versamark Ink
Black Embossing Powder
Distress Inks
Promarkers
Aztec Metallic Copper Paint
Red Mirror Card
Red and White card
Acetate
Craft Foam
Clear Micro Beads

Stamp Femmes Lady with Hearts using Versamark ink on white card and emboss with black powder.  Also stamp the image on a piece of craft foam.

Carefully cut out the three hearts from the white embossed image, keeping inside the embossed line so you will have a nice frame around your shaker window.  Roughly cut out the hearts from the stamped foam image, cutting a bit outside of the heart outline.  Lay the two pieces over each other and check that the craft foam isn't visible.  If it is, cut a bit more away.

**I coloured the lady's hair with Henna Promarker, layering to produce the different shades of brown, and the hearts with Cherry Red Promarker.
Add some Aztec Metallic Copper paint to the beads in her hair, lips and eyelid. Worn Lipstick distress ink  can be used for the background hearts and her skin.
Use a stitched die and a piece of acetate with craft foam piece behind the card panel.

Fill the shaker widows with clear micro beads and back them with scraps of red mirror card.

** I made a bow for her hair using a die to cut two tiny hearts from the red mirror card.

Now is the time to give it a good shake and make sure there aren't any leaks!!!!

Mount the shaker panel and a red base card and shake!!  You know you want to!!!

Thanks for dropping by, I hope you get the chance to stamp something fun today!
