Hearty Coupon Book

Hello there all you crafty beauties! My name is Jess and I am so very proud and excited to share with you all today my very first post for Blank Page Muse!! Valentines day inspires me to think of love. I know that Valentines day is fast approaching so, I wanted to get some projects in before it got too late.
I've created from scratch an envelope with coupons! So come along, let's get inky together with some lovely BPM stamps!

BPM Stamps used:
Other products used:
White premium marker paper
Red and black cardstock paper
Sharpie fine point red pen
Black archival ink
White marker
Glitter embossing powder
White ribbon
White eyelets
Hole punch

Ooo... Just look at those lovely stamps! I love both Katies' and Pams' designs. Aren't they amazing?! I'm having so much fun already!

Began by stamping the images onto white paper and coloring them using a red sharpie.* I used a sharpie because, I wanted more precise lines and dots. But, mostly because I want to show off those beautifully stamped images.
I love the stamped images just how they are. So, I decided to go for a sleek masculine look. In this photograph, I am lining the envelope in black paper for both durability purposes and for a more sleek and clean look.

I want to take this time to encourage you to create more with paper and stamps to make meaningful and fun projects! Too often do I hear disappointments with paper made products. So, that is why I wanted to show you a photograph of the envelope folded after the adhesive is applied. It provides a better image of the flexibility and durability of this kind of project using stamps.

Here is an overhead view of all the pieces once they are colored and placed. I love how they turned out. Those stamped hearts just pop so well against that background!

Use glitter embossing powder on the stamped circles.

Now is the time to add your finishing touches;  a few stamped hearts, some doodles...a hand written sentiment...

Voila! There we have a finished coupon book you can give to a friend or spouse. Here are some photographs of the finished envelope with coupons enclosed inside.

I do hope you enjoyed this tutorial today! Thanks for stopping by to see us today!
