Brrrr... Icy Winter Greetings

Hi Chris here and today I am sharing this super cute icy winter greeting card
created with the Penguins on Ice Sin City Stamp set.
This set is so much fun and perfect for all your winter projects!

List of supplies:
  1. Sin City Stamps Penguins on Ice
  2.  Archival Ink Jet Black (will not bleed when using watercolors)
  3. Versa Mark ink
  4.  Assorted brush tip markers in the following colors: light to dark blue, yellow, green, pink and black.
  5. A waterbrush or a cup of water and small paintbrush.
  6. White embossing powder.
  7. Heat gun
  8. Decorative tag
  9. Glittered silver cardstock
  10. Ribbon, white hemp cord and a jingle bell.
  11. Craft sheet or a plastic plate.

Begin by using the archival ink to stamp the Penguin with the fish image onto white cardstock.

The easiest way to "paint" any design with markers is to 'scribble' your marker onto your craft sheet or plate and then pick up your ink with a water brush. Dilute the ink with water as you work to create different shades of the same marker.  You can see the color difference below.

Use the same technique and other markers to color the rest of the stamped image.

Use the the dark blue marker to stamp the word "Brrrr..." onto your tag.
Stamp the snowflakes using the versa mark ink.
Sprinkle them with the white embossing powder and heat set them with your heat gun.

Layer everything as shown, securing with adhesive.

Finish off the card with a double bow and the jingle bell.

I am really loving the silver and blue combination, what do you think?
