Time... Pan Pastels and a Gate Fold with a Twist

Today for Sin City Stamps I am making a gate fold card.
This month our sponsor company is PanPastels.
I have never used Pan Pastels before this but I find that
I will be using them alot in the future.  I love the bold
colours that they give and the many ways you can use them.
We got a few colours to use this month and I have used two of them
for today's card.

Supplies:
Sin City Stamps: Time Stamps (Plate of Rubber)
Pan Pastels  - Bright Yellow Green Shade
Purple and sponge
Cardstock from stash
Versa Mark Embossing Ink
Hairspray

I used two colours of Pan Pastels.
I used the sponge to put them on the paper.
I love the depth of the colour.

I then inked the stamp from Time with embossing ink.

I put the paper with the Pan Pastels over top of the stamp.
I used a brayer to make sure the ink got on the paper.

Then I used the same colour Pan Pastels to go over the
embossed ink with the sponge.
You can see at the bottom how the embossed ink makes it darker.

Here is the whole piece done.
Look the  depth of the colour when you
add colour for the second time.

I didn't have any sealant so I used hairspray
and it gave it a big of a sheen.

This is the first time I have done anything using
Pan Pastels. I have done some trial projects
last week but I was pretty unhappy about how
they turned out.
I am glad I kept trying as I really like this card.
I will definitely will getting some more Pan Pastels.

This card is a gatefold card with a twist.
Love this idea.

Thanks for stopping by.
