Thinking of You

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today using stamps from Blank Page Muse.

Blank Page Muse Rubber Stamps:  In Sympathy Flowers and Sentiments

Repeatedly stamp the flower on a panel of white without overlapping.
I chose to stamp in purple, but think of the possibilities when stamping in assorted colors.

Stamp the border stamp in black ink and stamp the sentiment inside.

Mat the floral panel with black cardstock and add to a card.
Tear a strip of black cardstock to fit across the card.
Tear the stamped panel and mat with a torn black panel.
Adhere to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Wildflower Journal ~Beauty in Botanicals

Welcome back to our Blog! Each month we have a fun theme and for April the theme is Beauty in Botanicals!

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here sharing a floral journal using an assortment of stamps from Blank Page Muse.

Blank Page Muse Stamps

Finding an older journal in my stash I decided to repurpose it in a fun way.

Using a floral napkin, I adhered it to the journal using Mod Podge.
While it looked really pretty, I wanted to add additional dimension, so I stamped the Script Stamp across the top of the journal.
Next, I embossed it for a subtle effect.

On the inside of the journal, I stamped (and also embossed) the Classic Wildflower stamp.
Then I added pattern paper to the journal pages.

This was a fun project to create and can be used for so many purposes.
I do see creating more in my future!

Floral Background with One Stamp

Hello friends. Today I am presenting this gorgeous purple floral card for Blank Page Muse!

The stamp is from the Fairytale Fantasy Figures Art Stamp designed by Terri Sproul.

Stamp the background first with an alcohol marker compatible ink. I use Gina K Almagon ink. Remember to always start with a center image first so you can work your way out to the edge and stamp small portions to fill in the blanks.

Chose your colors and  make the images come to life!  I used my favorites purple and a muted green. Once the coloring is complete, trim down so you can mount on black paper and then on an A2 white base. I elected to do a landscape oriented card. The black frame really picks up the  floral outline.

Use a label die cut to cut the base for the sentiment Bloom Where You are Planted. The label is popped up with foam tape to provide depth.  The black and white twine provides a pop of interest. Be sure to attach the twine before adding the card base. I tape the ends securely on the back to be sure.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'd love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook, Blogger and You Tube.  Be well. Be creative!
