Stenciled Grateful Heart Card

HELLO!   Today I am excited to share this stenciled card I created using the super cute and fun Blank Page Muse Clara & Dream Big Art Rubber Stamps designed by Magda Polakow.  As a bird momma myself I love  stamps with birdies!   and this one is adorable.  And she looks so cute on this slimline card!

Supplies needed:

Create your slimline card by cutting your white cardstock to 8.5 inches x 7 inches.  Score your card at 3.5 inches (on the 7 inch side).  These slimline card will fit into regular business sized envelopes.

Cut your coordinating cardstock slightly smaller than your card base front.

Use distress ink to ink your Hearts Stencil .  Move your stencil to ink your entire cardstock.

Just look at how the red ink pops off the pink cardstock!

Adhere the stenciled background onto your card base.

Stamp your Clara  onto white cardstock.

Color your image as desired.

Add your stamped image to your card .
Finish off with your favorite sentiment stickers.

I hope you are inspired to get creative with your stamps and papers from Blank Page Muse and I Brake For Stamps.  Don't forget to use my discount code BPMChris.

Christmas Bookmarks

Sue here with Christmas in May.  Do you think this will catch on?

Oh, well I just wanted to get a little head start on small gifts for the holiday season.

I made a 5"x7" card with a pocket to hold a holiday theme bookmark.

Here is a slimline card with a bookmark.  The cards are simple, but the bookmarks have lots of gold to make them shine.

Warm Sun and Gentle Breezes

Good day, fellow crafters. it's Tamara once again, with a new post where I am

going be showcasing my latest card created using Blank Page Muse products!

As soon as I saw the sets I am showcasing today, I thought of someone special

who loves sunflowers, butterflies, and the color yellow. I ordered them right

away and added them to my craft stash. This card is beautiful yet simple to

make, so let's get started.

You will need the following:

 Blank Page Muse

 Butterfly Breezes

 Blank Page Muse

Blocks Pattern Stencil

 Black ink pad

 Yellow ink pad

 Cardstock –white and yellow

 liquid glue

 masking

 paper trimmer

To craft your card, start by selecting a background panel. You can use one you’ve previously

created or make a new one based on your preference. For this project, the

chosen panel features light pink and various shades of yellow. This panel will

serve as the basis for your stamped images, so choose colors that appeal to

you.

Next, use black ink and the Butterfly Breezes stamps to stamp the images onto

the panel in the colored area of your choice. You can either let the natural

color of the background panel stand out or add additional coloring to the

images. Once stamped, or stamped and colored, fussy cut the stamped images

and set them aside for later.

For the background panel, you will need a piece of white cardstock, the

Blank Page Muse Blocks Stencil, and some masking tape. Because the stencil

is smaller than an A2 card, masking is necessary. First, secure the white

cardstock to your work surface and then secure the stencil in place. Mask off

the area where you don’t want ink, and use yellow ink and an ink blending

brush to apply the color. Once completed, remove the stencil, realign it on the

opposite side of the panel, secure it, mask, and ink blend this side of the panel.

Allow it to dry fully.

The last stage is to assemble the card. Using a paper trimmer, cut the inked

background panel to its final dimensions. Trim a piece of yellow cardstock

slightly larger than the finished background panel to create a mat. Once both

sheets are to size, use liquid glue to adhere the background panel to the mat,

then adhere the composite to a white card base. Once dry, orient and adhere

your sunflower and butterflies to the panel. Finally, using the sentiment from

the Butterfly Breezes stamp set and black ink, orient and stamp the sentiment.

With that, your card is complete.

Rainbow Colored Mushrooms

Hello! Welcome back to the BPM blog. So glad you are here. I got my inspiration from today's card from a washi tape. I love the colors of the mushrooms that I thought of re-creating it.

I am using the following Blank Page Muse stencils:
The mushroom stencil is my most used BPM product to date. I just can't stop coming up with ways of using it!

Simply choose the colors that you want your mushrooms to be, (I went for a rainbow of colors for my mushrooms), then place the stencil over a white 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cardstock.

Mask off the mushrooms, leaving only the caps to be colored. Use your daubers to add and blend your colors. When all the caps are colored in, then mask them off and repeat the process with the stems.

Feel free to add a dot of white enamel with a stylus to the mushrooms caps for some fun detail.

You can cut this into a strip to mimic a washi tape. But I decided to create a scene on this panel for a note card.

I hope you like today's project. Please visit my blog, Maria Giselle's Creative Cuts, for more details.

Wild Berry Thanks

 Hi there, crafting friends!

It’s design team member Walter back on the blog with you today. I had mentioned in my previous post that I'd be making a card using a scrap from the Wild Berries card panel that I had cut out.  I'm here to share with that you today!

I hate to see really nice scraps go to waste.  I generally save them to put them to use in another card.  It's an easy way to stretch your craft supplies as well as your budget.

Here's what I used to make it:

 Here's how I made it:

  • Stamped the Wild Berries background stamp onto a piece of vellum with black ink and colored in the berries with a blue alcohol marker.
  • Adhered the stamped & colored vellum to a piece of white card stock.
  • Added double sided foam tape to the Wild Berries circular scrap, aligned it with the stamped & colored image, and adhered it to the panel.
  • Adhered the panel to the A2 card base.
  • Cut an A2 sized frame from black card stock, colored over it with a metallic silver glitter marker, put double sided foam tape on the back of it, and adhered it to the card.
  • Colored a scrap piece of white paper with the metallic silver glitter marker, glued a sentiment onto it, and glued it down to my card.

Wonderland

I love my Alice stamps from Blank Page Muse!  Today I am sharing a card that will be a part of my Alice journal. The painting of the roses takes place in The Queen’s Garden of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Alice encounters the Gardeners painting the white roses red.  They accidently planted white roses instead of red.  If the Queen of Hearts discovers this error, their heads could be at risk!

Stamped Thank you Card

Greetings! Today I am excited to share this fun Thank You card I created that is suitable for anyone on your list - male or female! This card is so fun to create and has sooooo many possibilities.  Just change your ink colors and the whole card changes! Change the embossing folder and the whole card changes! So lets get creating.

Supplies needed:

Start with a 4 x 6 sheet of paper paper.  Using your brayer apply distress inks onto the photo paper.  You can see some of my brayer marks. Trust me its ok you want it to look "rough". Let ink dry.

Choose your embossing folder and emboss your inked photo paper.

User a blender add black distress ink over your embossed image. Just look at how that highlights your embossed image!

Attached your embossed photo paper to the left side of your Kraft Card Base.

Create your background by using your desired colors of ink apply distress inks onto the photo paper with your brayer and let dry.

Stamp your butterfly from the Heart of Nature Butterflies Bees  and the "Thanks"  from your  Fall Rubber Stamp   onto your stamping background.

Adhere your stamped images as shown and finish off with some coordinating enamel dots.

Stained Glass Flowers

 Hi there, crafting friends!

It’s design team member Walter back on the blog with you today.  You know the old adage "April showers bring May flowers"?  Well, it's certainly true in regards to this card design.  I wanted to capture that in my first project for the month and my thoughts immediately turned to the gorgeous Stained Glass rubber stamps from I Brake for Stamps.  I decided on using stamp #4 as the focal point and the Wild Berries rubber stamp from Blank Page Muse as the background.  I really like the way that they look together!

Here's what I used to create it:

 Here's how I made it:

  • Embossed Stained Glass Flowers onto vellum with black embossing powder; colored the image with alcohol markers; adhered a piece of acetate over it.
  • Embossed the Wild Berries background stamp onto black card stock with silver embossing powder; colored in the berries with Brutus Monroe Creamy Blue Aqua Pigment.
  • Used a circle nesting die to cut a whole in the center of the embossed berry panel; adhered the stained glass panel behind the berry panel with double sided foam tape.
  • Adhered the panel to the card base with double sided foam tape.
  • Stamped sentiment onto piece of scrap gray card stock, glued it down to a slightly larger scrap of black card stock, and adhered it to the card base with double sided foam tape.

The black embossed lines, combined with the effect of the alcohol ink on the vellum and the shine of the acetate, truly mimics the look of a stained glass window.  I love it!  And it's a lot of fun to create.
