Autumn Leaves Thank You card

 Hello from design team member, Heidi!  
 I had a productive time making cards the other day, and this one was my absolute favorite of the bunch!

For this card, I decided to stamp the leaf on two watercolored backgrounds.  One was a plain green, and the other was brusho sepia.  After I fussy cut these, I sponged some Tea Dye Distress ink around the edges to add depth. I also used a dotting tool to curl up the edges of the leaves.

Then I stamped this lovely flourished Thank You and die cut it.  I masked off the frame of the die cut and then stamped the little thicket stamp over top in a very light beige ink, and I also sponged over the edges with Speckled Egg Distress ink.  I really liked how that turned out.

Be One With Nature

 Hello from designer Heidi!  Today I would like to share a nature themed card. 

This card using stamps and a stencil from the Woodlands Stamp and Stencil bundle designed by Donna Gray.

I first stenciled over top of some patterned paper using brown Distress inks.  Then I stamped my tree right over top. I used all Versafine inks for the stamping here and Tombow water-based markers for the coloring.  I stamped, color and fussy cut out the owl and placed him near the tree. I really like the sentiments in this set. I think a walk in the woods is really great therapy.

Make Ephemera from a Stencil

This month's theme at Blank Page Muse/I Brake for Stamps (BPM/IBFS) is "Stencil It" which means using a stencil in our project. I love using stencils for making backgrounds and scenes, but did you know you can also make ephemera (also called embellishments and die cuts)?  For today's card, I am using the adorable gnome stamp from BPM/IBFS called PJ Love Gnome designed by Pam Bray, the Cute Mushrooms Stencil designed by Donna Gray, and the Clouds and Drops 5x5 inch Mixed Media Stencil. I made the ephemera with the mushrooms stencil. So fun and easy to do.

Winter Canvas - A Quick and Easy Gift Idea

 Greetings!  Are you looking for a quick and easy last minute idea for that special someone?  How about this cute canvas!  

Supplies needed

Blank Page Muse:  StarBright Gnome Wintery Tree Let Your Light Shine words Art Rubber Stamps designed by Pam Bray 

6x6 Flat Canvas; Distress Inks; Inks- white, black; Paint- white; Jute; wooden star

Start by adding ink to your canvas. Layer your distress inks as desired. 

Stamp Blank Page Muse StarBright Gnome Wintery Tree Let Your Light Shine words Art Rubber Stamps designed by Pam Bray  onto your canvas.  Layer the trees over each other. 

Add jute bow and wooden star to finish your project!

Ginkgo Journal Tuck Book

  Hello friends, guest designer Kelly here today using the Ginkgo Leaf, and script stamp from the Correspondence stamp set to create this little book.

To make this book, I used a shipping tag folded in half then used inks and stamping on the background. Washi tape was added  with the stamped Ginkgo leaf and some ribbon.
Use an assortment of handmade papers for the inside page, then sew them all together.

Believe in the Magic of Christmas

 Hi everyone.

Monique here showing a Christmas tag, with a bit of a twist :-)

It's just I like a bit of creepy in my Christmas tags, so that is why I thought this Dead Sea Toons boy with Santa hat would work great with the snowflakes stencil and the sentiment stamp. He is just a little bit Creepy and still cute ;-)

Art Journal page There is a little Witch in all of us

 Hello, Mo here.

I had so much fun making this art journal page, using the stencils and stamps from Blank Page Muse.

This page was made in my leather bound journal (Barnes and Noble), it's not supposed to be used for art journaling but it does work. When I saw the cute witch stamp I just had to use bright colors to make this page. She is flying over the flames on her branch, which is the more "green, environment friendly" version of the old fashioned broom :-)

Snow Family Slimline Christmas Card

A friend and I were talking today about getting our Christmas/holiday cards finished, but we were both trying to figure out cards that we can mass produce that didn't take a long time to do. I think I found the stamp that I will be using for some of my cards this year! This is "Snow Family" from Blank Page Muse/I Brake for Stamps (BPM/IBFS). It's an adorable stamp that's easy to color and cut. Add a few trees and a snowy background and you have a beautiful card. 

This month's BPM/IBFS theme is "Stencil It" so the goal is to use a stencil on each project. I used the "Butterfly Trails Circles Patterns Mixed Media Stencil" from BPM/IBFS to create the snowy background.

Playing with Paper!

 Happy Friday! I am so excited to share with you today a scrapbooking layout that I did using the latest release from Blank Page Muse, designed by Pam Bray: Cyan Consortium! When I first saw this paper it was love at first sight. My favorite colors all packaged together. I could not wait to get it opened and spread out on my table to admire all the beautiful designs....

Pretty Floral Birthday Card

 Hello from new design team member, Heidi. I am really happy to be here!

My card today uses all stamps from the I Brake for Stamps store.  I stamped the bouquet on white vellum and then used black embossing powder.  I colored on the back with alcohol markers.  Some well placed little pieces of foam tape were completely invisible to the eye.

The inside of the card was finished with another stamp from the set in a medium pink ink.  I stamped over top with a sentiment.  I gave this card to a good friend for her birthday recently and she really liked it.  And I am happy to report we had both sunshine AND laughter on her special day!

The stamps I used today are I Brake for Stamps Florals Sheet and Inspirational Plate #2.
